Four groaned and looked around the kitchen. They couldn't believe that they got roped into helping in Two's hotel. But at least X was with them, right? "X?" Four called, looking around for their best friend and co-host. "I'm right here Four!" X called, popping up from behind the counter. Thank math they're ok. X walks around the counter to where Four is. "I'm just too short to be seen over the counter." X walks back around, and they are indeed shorter than the counter top. So short in fact, Four can't even see the top of X's nubs. "See?!" X huffed. Although Four couldn't see them, they could tell that X was pouting with that adorable look on their face. All of a sudden, Two pops in the kitchen and looks around. "Wow, I love what you guys have done with the place!" Oh great. THEY'RE here now. Four sighs and rolls their eyes. Why couldn't they ever get a moment alone with X in this math-forsaken hotel. They couldn't understand why X was so nice to Two. Two looks around the kitchen. "Soooooooo. You guys have that cake ready for Cake at Stake?" Four rolled their eyes and looked away, not even wanting to dignify that question with a response. X sighed at Four's behavior and looked at Two apologetically. "Sorry about that," X says while they pull the cake out of the freezer. "Me and Four made an ice cream cake this time!" They say happily, handing the blue and yellow cake to Two. Two smiles and takes the cake. "Thanks, X, buddy!" They teleport out of the kitchen to do Cake at Stake, much to Four's annoyance. Why couldn't that green, nosy, British number, leave them alone with X, for math's sake?!
Four rolled over in their bed, unable to sleep. They were so used to sleeping with X, that it felt weird without them. Four rolled over again, trying to get comfortable. It just wasn't the same without X. They were having a sleepover with Two and the other contestants. Four sighed and tried not to feel jealous. X was supposed to be with them! Not Two of all people! Four huffed in frustration, rolling over and trying to fall asleep. Not wanting to give Two the satisfaction that they got to them.
There was a flash of movement as someone sped through the hotel. All of the occupants, including Four, were asleep. The figure made it's way through the hotel, seemingly, looking for something. The figure finally finds what it's looking for. A small chunk of Yolelite. They carry it with a glowing blue star, as if they don't have arms. As they leave, the figure trips over X, causing the latter to squeak and call for Four. "Fourrrrr! Someone's hurting me!" Four rushes out of bed and over to X. Seeing the cloaked figure with the Yolelite, Four gasps. "You!" They say yanking the cloak off to reveal One. She smirks, still holding the Yolelite with her powers. "Bye bye!" She says, using the Yolelite to travel away. X turns to look at Four with a shocked expression. "She took the Yolelite... We can't let her get away!" X shouts, looking at Four with a shocked expression. "Foury?" X pleads. "Can you please get it back?" I don't want her to use it to hurt anyone else. Not like she hurt Three." Tour's expression softens at X's, desperate, pleading face. "Fine. I'll do it." Four says reluctantly. "But only for you X, okay?" X's face lights up* "Really?! Thank you Four!" They squeeze Four in a tight embrace. Four sighs and returns the hug. It was going to be a LONG rest of the night.
