Lloyd paced in the training grounds, practicing the words in his head.Thoughts flooded his mind and his heart pounded in his chest.They were scared to death.
"What if they don't accept me? What if they think im weird orr throw me out or if they dont respect me or-"
"Hey kid"
In front of him was Kai.Lloyd was suddenly snapped out of his train of thought , visibly startled.
Okay lloyd, be cool
"AaAgH. O-oh hi K-Kai wh-whats going on?' he suttered awkwardly.
what the hell was THAT.This is like the most awkward moment in my life EVER.
Lloyd had to resist the urge of facepalming.
Kai was immediately suspicious but he decided not to pry just yet.
"Dinner's readyZane made some noodles and dumplings"
"i'll be there in a bit"
Kai glanced over at the kid and gave him one last concerned look before begrudgingly walking out.
The second Kai was out of earshot,Lloyd let out a heavy sigh.
After about 2 minutes of contemplating, he had decided.
Im going to do this. Oh shit. Well here goes nothing.
At the dinner table , Lloyd was picking at his food ,anxiety bubbling inside of him.
Master Wu picked up on this.
"Lloyd?Is something wrong?'
The table goes silent.
"Sooooooo.I have something i would like to share with you" he began
"and i totally understand if you want to kick me out or if you don't understand or.." Lloyd rambled
"Lloyd, breathe .You're not going anywhere, i promise"Cole interrupts
"im trans"
the table is silent once again.Then jay laughs.
"HA ha ha hA that was it? Lloyd of course we support you"
"i guess we take up more than half of the team now" cole chimes in
"WAIT WHAT !"Lloyd exclaims
"Me , Jay and Cole are all trans," kai explains "anyway what are your pronouns?"
"Uh He/They" says Lloyd ,still stunned at this new information.
KAI , COLE AND JAY ARE JUST LIKE ME!
"Congratulations on coming out Lloyd" Pixel said
"i am uploading your pronouns to my database.I can assure you we are all very supportive of your choices" said Zane
"Yeah ,honestly we would never have even considered throwing you out.UNLESS it was you who took the last pudding cup from the fridge , that had MY NAME ON IT " said jay
"Yeeeaaah , about that" Cole replied
"COLE!"
"Oh stop bickering you two and just eat already!" Nya yelled, stopping the shouting match
Lloyd smiled a real smile.For the first time in a long time he had a real family.
