You said it. Out loud.
You never thought you'd be able to. Part of you still feels embarrassed by the idea of being loved by him.
And with him, words have never been necessary, so why should you have said it aloud?
You feel lighter now, stealing glances at him.
Yet from the way he looks at you, you understand how happy he is too.
He's happy that you managed this step, so huge for you.
He's happy to see you smiling, radiant at his side.
He's happy knowing that yes, you love him. Only him. Always him. Forever. Truly.
