Are you jealous?

Summary:

Robert has unrequited feelings for Casey at a Valentine’s Day bake sale.

This is old and a little bad but this fandom doesn’t exist so I am posting it any way to get something out there. Hope you read it even if it isn’t good.

Notes:

So I wanted to post this just because this fandom doesn’t exist and I want to get something out there. This is pretty old and not too good, but I am posting it anyway. I am planning however to write an epic long fic for this series. I promise it will be better than this one. I hope you enjoy this anyway :)

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

Robert was third wheeling at the Lucky bake sale. When he accepted the invention to join Casey and Luci he didn’t know West had planned it to be a date for her and Grimes and that Casey invited him without her permission. Which seemed like a really West thing to do but then again Pierce was pretty sure Luci hadn’t told Casey it was supposed to be a date either. Stuff like this was happening all the time he guessed he shouldn’t have been surprised.

Robert found the two in a crowd of students and parents next to the stalls by the cafeteria entrance. “I thought this was a bake sale.” Said Casey confused.

“It is, but they sell other things too, like bracelets and school merch. You know?” Explained Luci, she was wearing one of the so- called bracelets she had just bought from one of the stalls, it had all the colors of the rainbow which contrasted with her green tank top and brown camo skirt. “I got one for you too,” she said, holding out a gold and silver bracelet for Casey to take.

“Oh thanks. But you really didn’t have to,” He took the bracelet from Luci’s palm and slid it onto his wrist.

“Hey that’s what friends are for.” She blushed.

“Where is my bracelet? I’m a friend.” Robert asked. He could see Casey flinched a little from his sudden appearance. “Just kidding.”

“Hi Robert, Luci I hope you don’t mind but I invited Robert along too.” By the dagger eyes she was giving told them she definitely did mind. Robert thought if eyes could bite her’s would.

“Oh No. I forgot I promised Gloria to visit her stand.” Said Casey all too destrat, and so the group made their way towards the section of the school that housed most of the 1st-3rd grade classes. They found Gloria at a stall selling cookies in the shape of unicorns and rainbows. She looked rather bored sitting in the flooding chair station behind the cash box, but perked up after seeing the three approaching.

“How’s business Glow” asked Luci

“Fine I guess…” she sighed “I don’t want to lie. I thought there would be more free cookies when I signed up for this but the manager lady says if I eat one I’d have to pay for it as well! I think that free labor is payment enough for the cookies.” she said matter of factly.

“This is a fundraiser to support the endangered plants and animals of our forest. Don’t you want to protect them?” asked Luci teasingly.

“Yes but not if it means I don’t get cookies.”

“How about I buy you a cookie?” Casey pulled a few dollar bills and cones out of his pocket “How much are they?”

“Five bucks.”

“Oh uh, I really am sorry Glow but I only have $4.50 left.”

Gloria looked saddened by this but perked up when Robert said “I’ll get it for you.” He wasn’t sure why but Piece had taken a liking to Grimes’s little sister. Maybe it had something to do with the fact that it seemed as if she could see right through him. Whenever Luci started to act as if she was entitled to Casey she would give him a knowing look. Glow was surprisingly smart for her age.

Gloria took the money, set it gently in the money box, and started to munch down a unicorn with a purple main. “Thanks!” She said through a mouthful of crumbs.

As the day went on the more and more Luci seemed to wish Robert would go away and the more Robert chose to stay out of the way until he chose to give up. He probably should have done so sooner.

“Well I got to be off now, got work to do.” That was a lie Robert had absolutely nothing to do that day.

“What do you have to do?” Asked Casey, he almost looked genuinely disappointed.

“It’s a secret for security.” Another lie, but they’d buy it, and so he headed off towards the Midnight Lynx, his war station, and a Red-Eye.

Notes:

If anybody else out there likes this series please make something for it. I am dying out here. Would love any comments if they have something to say. I know it is unlikely anyone is going to read this but I have to have some hope.

Okay also, wow isn’t the typo. I just reread it. I am pretty sure I edited this thing 100 times in the past, but guess I was wrong because there were some obvious things wrong with that. I wrote: flooding chair station, instead of folding chair stationed. Like what?
