Saps walk to the counter to ask for his dorm key . He was kinda excited and nervous at the same time, his thoughts were all about his new life at - state wood university - and his roommate to. For him having a roommate isn't just about sharing a dorm but also being besties living under the same room.
He snapped out his thoughts, and reached out for his dorm keys, before heading up stairs he let out a slow breath, and went his way in the elevator . 'Hmm? My dorm is at room 34' the elevator opened, saps walked out pulling his Luggage to the direction of his dorm. '31, 32, 33... 34!!' he stood Infront of his door, hesitating on opening it and meeting his roommate. He let out a dry Laugh trying to calm his nervousness he knocked once no answer, twice still nothing. Probably no one in yet he thought as he turned the knob and opened it.
He looked around "ohh pretty-" he mumbled to himself pulling his luggage inside. He placed his luggage in a corner and started exploring the dorm. There were two rooms one for him and his roommate. He opened the door of the first room. A bed a window and a drawer and study table in the corner. He closed the door gently and walked to the other room. He opened the door. It was quite similar to be honest, the same layout as the other one. The only difference being the covers in a different shade of gray.
Saps chose a room, and opened the door wide enough for his luggage and other stuff to get inside. He walked to his luggage that was left at a corner, he reached out and started pulling it inside. And slowly unpacked everything that was inside, clothes, utensils just in case, and study material and more. He set a pair of clean clothes on top of his bed and took his towel, deciding to take a bath before his roommate will arrive. Y'know a good impression to the person he will be stuck with for the entirety of university.
After taking his bath he walked back to his room and changed to something more comfortable, which is just a black t-shirt with a random music lyric I'm the front and some blue jeans. He brushed his white hair , he really wants to make a good impression for his roommate because he wanted a new friend. He walked out of his room intending to cook dinner, he was starving. But he heard a knock at the door, he speed walked to the door. He then opened the door a gently smile on his face. He was met with amethyst eyes looking at him with amusement. He stiffened his smile faltering. He knew this person by competition. His smile completely faltered, his brow's furrowed. The person in front of him let out a amused laugh.
"Oh really saparata? Still holding a grudge" saps stared at those familiar dark purple eyes, not saying a word just observing the person in front of him. Yup it's him, saps rolled his eyes and opened the door wide for flux to get inside, he walked back to his room, his appetite completely vanished when he saw flux after years. Before he can close his door he heard flux talk to himself "still fucking rude as I remember" saps then shut the door. His excitement fading to the darkness of his bedsheets as he was laying down.his memories of flux flooding back.
Well to start with. Him and flux didn't have a great relationship to begin with. Flux was his rival since middle school, after there not so friendly competition. Both were smart, but it seems both wanted to be better than each other. Simple debates became challenging, projects became 'who can make something better is greater '. And yet saps sometimes losses to these things. Until the time both were running for class president and flux won over one vote, ONE VOTE!?. Since that day saps held a grudge that seems to last forever. Until his family moved away, saps didn't mind that much. No more stupid challenges and most importantly no more Fluixon Aculon. And there he was, outside saps door. After years of rivalry he is stuck with him to who knows how long?!
Saps groaned in complete annoyance. He stood up from his bed, remembering he left his phone in the kitchen island. The world actually hated him at this point. He opened his door peaking, to see if flux is around. He then turned his gaze on the kitchen island, BINGO! His phone was still there. He went outside his room, making his way to the kitchen. When suddenly he heard flux on the phone with someone. Probably Thomas they were best friends of course. He grabbed his phone heading back to his room to sleep. He walked by flux room and overheard his conversation with someone. He stopped looking at flux's door intently, he noticed what he was doing and turned away. There rooms where next to each other, and vaguely looks a like, the color, the door, and the little sign that says 'rooms'.
He walked to his room and opened the door intending to enter. But he was stopped when someone started knocking. He looked at the room next to his, seing flux come out and opened the door. Saps squinted to see who was at the door at this time. Only to be met with someone spotting him.
"Oh!! Saps!!" Cynikka pushed flux from the door heading to saps, with an exited expression on her face
Saps didn't expect cynikka to be here, to be honest. But she was a good friend at middle school. Hard to believe her brother is flux.
"Hi cyn." Saps said rubbing his eyes. As Cynikka approached him and gave him a surprise hug.
Saps looked around not knowing what to do. He spotted flux staring at them with a complicated expression. Saps rolled his eyes, fixing his gaze upon seeing cynikka after a long time. He didn't give a damn on what flux was thinking. After a while Cynikka pulled away her exited smile still on her face.
"Wow saps! Look at you!" She paused examining saps up and down "you look fine, what's your skin routine? Your Soo pale?! And your eyes are still the same golden color as I remembered!" She looked at saps wide eye, on how different he looked. More mature, gorgeous even.
"Aww thanks for all the complements cyn. You look pretty as usual" saps complimented.
"Aww thank you. Saps, my brother is soo lucky to have you as a roommate",she sighed as she turned around to flux, who was standing awkwardly at the door.
"What?! Why you looking at me like that?!" Flux said rolling his eyes. Looking cold and unbothered as usual.
She looked back at saps "he doesn't deserve you" she said with a serious tone.
"Excuse me?!" Saps said letting a out a dry Laugh. Maybe cynikka is joking? He thought to himself. And stared at cynikka who looked serious about what she said. They weren't even dating, nor love each other? Why would cyn just say those words? She absolutely knew that they absolutely hated each other to the guts. He looked at cynikka then at flux who was in this belief upon hearing what his sister said. Both made eye contact in a fraction of a minute before looking away, staring at cynikka.
She signed "you to idiots are to blind for this earth and the entire universe at this point.." she commented before walking to flux, and whispered to his ear. Whatever cynikka whispered made flux embarrassed. His ears where turning a light shade of pink.
Saps stared at the siblings still trying to understand what cynikka said, or what she meant about them being blind. She then rolled her eyes on flux's reaction and turned back to saps. "Hey saps I'll add you later so we can talk more. " She then left without another word closing the door behind her. Leaving saps confused, and flux in a somewhat flustered state. Wonder what she said, saps thought. He looked at flux who was staring at the door intently.
After a while Flux realized that saps was looking at him. He turned his head to face saps his expression looked like he was dumbfounded or in disbelief. Both stared at each other for a while, not knowing what to do. Flux's face had gone through so many expressions, moments ago. It was hard to see if he was dumbfounded, embarrassed, or confused. The silence felt uncomfortable and awkward. just them staring at each other not knowing what to do or how the situation escalated.
Saps broke the silence, letting out a broken Laugh before asking. "So what did she say?" He asked a hint of curiosity in his tone.
"You don't want to know what she just said, I promise it's terrible." flux said his turning back to the door one more time before. Walking to his door. He stopped and looked at saps, "forget anything that happened" he said before going in his room.
"Oh I see-" saps looked at the now closed door. He wanted to ask more, he wan genuinely curious about what she said.
He stood there for a while, before going inside. He closed the door behind him. And stared blankly at his bed and those dark grey bedsheets. He slumped down. Looking up the celling, not knowing how is he ganna live with flux as his roommate. He looked at the clock on his bedside table, "10:57 pm. Already?" He mumbled to himself, his gaze lingered for a bit at the clock, then at his phone that was buzzing with notifications. He stared.
Unknown:
Hey saps it's cynikka. Save my number please I need someone to inform about flux. Y'know just Incase he, idk get in trouble or something.

Saps stared at that exact text. He opened it and renamed the contact to 'cyn:)' cyn as shorten for cynikka. He is absolutely kinda confused, why there names are so confusing. The first time he meet flux he thought his name was 'fluxion' and not 'fluixon'. Before he can thought of possibilities why there names are like that he heard a new notification.

That's good.. gotta go. Update me if flux does something really shitty ok?

It feels like hell here already >:(

Oh c'mon saps it's been years already:/ don't hold a grudge because my brother was annoying back then.
Saps:
He was the worst! \(>∆<)/. I never thought of meeting him again. But know I'm stuck with him in what feels like FOREVER!
Cyn:) :
Oh don't be dramatic >:0 it's not that bad. You just only saw how he treated you!. But if you where me, you'll see what I saw!.
Saps:
What does that mean?! O_o ? Did I miss anything back then??
Cyn:) :
Your so blind OMG xp. How do you even see the world, at this point I don't understand you saps. —_—

What does she mean I'm BLIND?!, he asked to himself. What did I miss???!!. He was so confused on what cynikka meant 'what I saw' what did she mean about that?? What did she see about them.?! Saps had so many questions that his head was starting to hurt. He decided to sleep and maybe forget what cynikka said. "..." He didn't sleep, he tossed and turned hoping he might just drift of to sleep. But anytime he closes his eyes, cynikka's message will randomly pop up without warning. "Ok saps. Calm down and forget about this" he told himself before he eventually fell asleep.
Saps woke up, so tired from thinking last night. He groaned, then opened his eyes forcefully and looked at the clock. 6:32, it was to early but he stood up and sat on top of his bed, rubbing his eyes and staring at nothing. Should he go out and make breakfast or just sit there. Ofc, He got up and left his room. He headed to the kitchen. And stopped Infront of the fridge before opening it. And OF COURSE!, there's no food they hadn't gone grocery shopping yet, it was the first day, and university start's tomorrow. He groaned with disappointment and slammed the door. starving, he looked around thinking ISH might send food.
"Why is there no food?! I'm starving" saps said, winning like a little kid. "Damn I should go shopping at this point" he mumbled to himself before heading towards his room to change.
"Ofc there's no food you idiot. We just got here" saps stopped and looked at flux who looked annoyed.
"Yeah yeah I know. I'm going grocery shopping. Don't bother me" saps then rolled his eyes. His gaze still fixed on flux. "Aren't you going too?. I'm not the only one who will be eating in this dorm, y'know?!"
"Why would I go? grocery shopping isn't heavy y'know. You can probably do it yourself??"
"Yeah sure. Just say that your to lazy to go. And you'll probably eat the food I bought. That you didn't help at all." Saps turned away and opened his door.
"Fine-" flux sighed "get ready. I'm going" flux turned and slam the door behind him.
Rude?! Saps though as he went inside and changed his clothes. Something simple, a white Polo shirt and black pants. He brushed his hair. And wore his signature white shoes. He walked out expecting flux to not be out yet. But he looked more ready than saps. Like the dude was wearing a black t-shirt and dark grey pants. Black shoes to and headphones. Very iconic In saps opinion.
How long do you have to change?!" Flux grumbled, putting his hands in his pocket.
"Ok that's low-key rude but I'm ready now so should I get an Uber?" Saps asked as he placed his wallet in his pocket along with his phone, and walking to the door.
"I can drive y'know. I have my license if you don't trust me." Flux then followed behind saps who was already heading to the elevator not looking behind.Flux closed there door. And looked at saps who already was at the elevator waiting for him "rude as ever" flux grumbled.
They walked out of the dorms and went to the parking area, where students park there car or ride. saps was low-key kinda interested on what flux's car looks like. Well he knows flux is crazy rich-? "..." And ofc its a black car.
Flux opened the door and went inside getting the car ready. He then looked at saps who was standing "what?! Come in or I'm gonna leave you behind" Saps rolled his eyes and reluctantly went inside and closed the door.
The car started and both were silent in the car drive. Saps wished he was in the bus because this was getting very awkward. He tried to make conversation but remembering there old rivalry he just shut his mouth and looked outside the window. As he stared at the city behind the cars window the conversation he had with cynikka came back. He replayed what cynikka said over and over. Something in him wanted to ask flux personally and see what his opinion about what cynikka meant. But another part shouted at him to JUST STAY CURIOUS!. And before he can think of another possibility the car arrived.
"We're here, you get out. Someone might suspect where dating." Flux said parking his car.
"???" Saps looked at him with a complicated look. And opened the car door and walked out his steps light and composed.
"Bruhh no one will suspect any shit at all" saps murmured to himself running a hand on his hair.
He stopped in the entrance of the grocery store.he looked behind him to see flux walking towards him. He took a shopping cart and headed to the food section where there are fresh veggies, fruits, meat, and more. He walked for a while, picking the fresh ones and slowly placing it in the cart. He walked for a while before realizing he forgot about flux, and cynikka told him to inform her if flux does something shitty. He walked around for a while, looking at some things while searching for flux. He arrived at a wine section to notice flux standing there with someone he didn't know. He looked at both of them, flux seems to be explaining something to the person. He walked towards them, feeling the stranger's gaze on him. He smiled awkwardly as flux continued to explain something.
"Oh uhm no thanks, not interested sorry" flux had his hand behind his neck.
"Oh ok I get it..." The stranger said looking at saps and flux, like concluding an answer to a question. Saps didn't understand anything that happened, and certainly he didn't know what the stranger thought when they saw saps. After a while of awkwardly standing there, the stranger nodded and Left.
Saps breathed a sigh of relief "what on ish happened?" He looked at flux who looked kinda unbothered.
"Oh. They just ask if I was willing to go out with them " flux said putting his hand down to his pockets.
"So? Why didn't you agree?" Silence flux stared at saps, like the question offended him.
"Why would I agree??" Flux rolled his eyes "I don't even know them"
"Your insufferable, not knowing how to treat someone" saps sighed "anyway you did absolutely nothing so you hold the cart and follow me to the fruit Isle" saps pushed the cart and started walking away.
"Oh c'mon" flux groaned, and started following from behind.
They both walked for a while getting food, essential, and other stuff. After a while they stopped, Saps was picking from two fruits and flux was just staring, while pushing the cart back and forth in boredom. Until an old woman came to saps to ask questions. She looked like in her 70s.
"Excuse me young man. Where is the pasta Isle?" She asked her tone filled with gentleness and patience.
"It's over there ma'am." Saps pointed,
"That's great. Thank you" she smiled and looked at flux who was playing with the cart staring at saps.
"Oh dear, your boyfriend seems bored, young love how wonderful." she laughed softly before looking back at saps.
Saps eyes widened in shock and confusion, he was clearly caught of guard. He looked at flux who actually looked bored, in an attractive way. "Oh ma'am you must have mistaken" saps looked at the woman with a complicated look "his not my boyfriend in any way possible. His just my roommate" saps explained carefully trying to calm himself down. The old woman looked at flux who finally noticed that there maybe a problem, he walked to saps side. Leaning towards the cart lazily.
"Uhm.. anything wrong miss?"flux asked as saps just stared at him 'bad timing flux??' saps thought to himself looking at flux then at the old lady.
"Oh nothing. You to looked like your dating" she said innocently before walking away her heels clicking on the tile floor.
"Oh I see.." flux stared at the lady's figure turning a corner, before looking at saps "told you, people misunderstand people these days" he explained naturally.
After that little misunderstanding, both decided to leave. They went to the cashier and flux was such a dear to pay, which is good because saps brought the wrong wallet. They walked out and walked back to flux car. Saps went inside not saying a word as flux came inside and started the car. The ride was BRUTAL, non of them wanted to acknowledge what happened nor think about it. On how awkward it felt. Saps buried his face in his hands hoping his tone wasn't rude to the lady. It was for the first time someone thought there dating. Do they even look like there dating?? Saps didn't have the courage to look at flux directly in the eye.
Before saps could go to self doubt. The car stopped forcing saps snapped out of his thoughts, he opened the door and stood up, and closed the door gently. He quietly helped flux brought the groceries up to their dorm and placing them on the kitchen island. He then slowly unpacked everything and placed everything evenly in the fridge without saying a single word, as flux just went to his room doing something. I guess.
After finishing saps looked at his watch '2:43 pm' he then went to his room and changed to something comfortable. As he was going outside he saw a familiar person sitting down on the couch hands in pocket. "Thomas?" Saps asked, carefully trying to not mistake the person.
"Saparata theria? (forgot if its theria or atheria or something sorry) Is that really you?" Thomas asked the name fell naturally, like it hadn't been forever since both meet again.
Saps smiled a gentle smile "it's really you. Isn't it?" Thomas smiled and tapped the seat next to him.
"Yupp it's always been me" he sounded more mature, than what saps remember. He Sat down, placing his phone on the table and started talking with Thomas.
"So why are you here?" Saps asked feeling more comfortable with Thomas then flux, wait? where is flux?
"Oh flux invited me over" he paused "I actually don't know why, but I just came. Didn't expect you and flux being dorm mates, to be honest. You guys hated each other. As I remembered." Thomas let out an amused laugh before turning to saps.
"I know, I thought I'll never see him again. But I guess fate has a twisted sense humor " both laughed as there attention shifted to flux who was walking towards them.
Saps hummed "I'll get snacks. I know your probably hungry Thomas. " He stood up and headed to the kitchen, while flux sat opposite from Thomas.
"Saps your such an angel!" Thomas shouted, the compliment mad saps laugh in amusement.
Saps came back with a tray of fruits and a drink he set it on the coffee table. "Here I'll go to my room make yourself comfortable Thomas " he wiped his hands before going to his room. Leaving the two alone.
He opened his window and stared at something in the distance. He took his time thinking about tomorrow. - first day of university - he went to his bed and sat down the silence was comforting, until he remembered his phone on the table. He sighed, standing up and walked back to where flux was leaning on the sofa lazily. While as Thomas was now laying down both seem to talk about something.
Flux looked at him, in what he can tell annoyance? He actually didn't know. as for Thomas, he looked at him smiling as usual. "Sorry for interrupting I accidentally forgot my phone" a beat of silence "oh! There it is" saps reached out and grabbed his phone before looking back at the both of them. Saps then slowly made his way to his room. But before he can get inside Thomas asked him a question that caught his eye, he turned back.
"Hey saps remember what I told you in middle school about flux having a-" before he can finish flux glared at Thomas to 'shut tf up'.
Saps tilted his head "I don't remember?" He was curious about what Thomas said, he didn't even remember Thomas saying anything in the beginning.
"Well flux here has-" Thomas started to explain, as saps listened intently.
