The hallway was silent. No, not was. IS. The hallway IS silent. The stone walls looked almost decrepit, with a hint of decay at them. A thick, velvety darkness pressed in from all sides, drowning out every sound that Flux could make.
Fluixon really hated this place. It was awful. He didn't have a problem with the dark, far from it, but the atmosphere? A little bit too claustrophobic for his liking.
With slow, careful steps, he finally made it at the door by the end of the hall. He sighs, knocking on it. A little while ago, he'd been told he doesn't need to knock. He'd been told every part of this castle(?) is his just as much as it is the owners. Talking about the owner of this castle... he was a creep. A little bit insane, Flux didn't really want to think about why he was still sticking by.
With a slight creak, the door opened. Flux stared at the darkness and sighed once more. "Do you really have to do this? Why do you live in the dark? It's not like you're some kind of... vampi-"
Before Flux could finish his sentence, a pair of hands stopped him, making their way to his shoulders. Unexpectedly, he'd been pulled in for a kiss. A desperate one, Flux barely got the chance to breath before the air in his lung was replaced by the drug that this kiss felt like. Almost by instinct, Flux lifted his hands, fingers tangling into the other's hair. He threaded the fingers through his soft, silky hair, pulling him closer until there was no space left between them.
Flux pulled back, his own ragged breathing annoying him. In a hazy, dizzy state, he leaned into his lover, mumbling. "Saps..."
Saps gave him a smirk and pulled him into his room, the door slamming with a thud! behind them.
"Took you long enough. I've been waiting." Saparata said, half-whispering. There was a fire in his eyes, his gaze piercing Flux's heart with an accuracy he wished wasn't possible.
"Not my fault you live in a cave. It's not exactly easy to navigate this place," he replied, bitterly. He wasn't annoyed with Saps, no, not this time. He was mad at himself, at how quickly he'd given in.
Saps laughed sweetly at his remark, and Flux's eyes finally accommodated to the darkness fully. Saparata didn't have his usual armour on, it was probably discarded in a far corner. This — This was something Flux despised about him. He was so messy, so disorganised and so... so-
Once again, Flux's train of thought was interrupted by the feeling of his lover's lips on his. There was no hesitation, his mouth was hot and demanding, his fingers digging into his waist as Flux left out a breathless moan.
Wait a second — moan? Flux moaned??
Crimson spread across his cheeks, and Flux pulled back, placing his hands on Saps's chest to stop him from any further action. No. He couldn't give in that easily. It was so frustrating! He wasn't like this almost... almost.. ever! This wasn't him!
Saps could feel the other's embarrassment radiating through him. He was warm, and although he couldn't see the blush that had crept it's way onto Flux's face, he knew it was there. Gently, he pushed his hands to his sides and picked him up in a fast, swift motion. "You don't have to be ashamed, my dearest. You're doing so good. Nothing to be embarrassed about." Saps said, placing quick kisses on Flux's face — on his cheeks, the corners of his mouth, his nose, eyes — everywhere.
"I'm not ashamed!" Fluixon said, a little bit too loud. He felt his face get hotter and he mentally cursed himself. A moment of silence, then he spoke again. "Can we get a light in here? I wanna... see your... pretty face." He scrunched his nose up in remote disgust. Darn it, he even cringes himself out. Good thing Saps does anything for him, though.
Flux hadn't even registered they were moving again until Saps had settled him onto his bed. It was soft, and big. Really big. Saps had specifically chosen this room just for the bed. Greedy little thing.
A brief hiss sliced through the room as Saps struck(??) the match, a faint source of light slowly forming. As the candle lit up, a soft, golden glow washed over his face softening his features and chasing away the shadows. Flux stared. The boy really was pretty, with his pale skin and absolutely stunning hair.
"That's... That's better." Flux bit down on his tongue, embarrassment flooding him again. He lowered his head, only for it to be lifted back up by Saps's fingers, forcing him to look at him as he inspected him.
"You're okay, Flux? No one hurt you, right?" Saps asked, his thumb gently caressing the side of Flux's face.
Flux frowned, confused. "What?... No, no, why would anyone hurt me?" He wrapped his arms around Saps, pulling him on the bed, next to him.
Saps rolled his eyes, an obvious hint of annoyance. It was probably related to the "king", as he called himself. ParrotX2.
"Well, word got out that you're my..." Saps stopped, choosing his words carefully. "... paramour," he mumbled, clicking his tongue at the word. "I was worried they would try to kidnap you, or, I don't know, try to intimidate me by hurting you? Not sure. It would work, tho," he added smirking, seeing Flux's skeptic look.
Flux chose to ignore his lover's comment. "No, I'm fine. I don't think he would step that low.
"Maybe not," Saps agreed with a low hum, before comfortably settling in silence once more. He gently cupped Flux's jaw, his fingers careful and soothing. Slowly, they traced the shape of his face, stopping at his lips. They slipped past them, and Flux let him. Saps let out a quiet gasp, as if he was expecting rejection.
And he was right. Flux bit down on Saps's thumb, not hard enough for it to actually bleed, but hard enough for Saps to feel it and pull his hand back, hissing. "Ouch," he whispered, already laughing. He pulled Flux on top of him, the candle perfectly lightning up his face. He looked delicious and Saps couldn't help but want to take a bite. He was so unbearably cute, a feral wave of affection hitting him. He buried his face straight (?gay?) into the crook of his neck, and he felt Flux muffle a gasp. Inhaling deeply, his scent hit him like a truck. He wanted to drown in it, an overwhelming urge to bite down onto his lover's neck absurdly making it's way into Saps's brain. However, Flux would probably get shy and pull away if he did so.
However, the urge was too loud. He let out a low, frustrated(???) growl against the warm skin before finally giving in, nipping the soft junction where Flux’s neck met his shoulder. It wasn’t hard enough to break skin, just a needy, possessive press of his teeth.
Flux let out a high-pitched squeak, his entire body going rigid. Saps could practically feel the intense blush radiating off his lover's face. True to prediction, Flux tried to squirm backward, but Saps only tightened his grip around his waist, burying his face deeper into the crook of his neck to muffle his giggling.
"Saps!," Flux started, gasping. "When-... When I compared you to a vampire I didn't mean this!" his voiced pitched, indignated. He couldn't admit it, but he liked it. Strange as it was, he did. Maybe even wished for Saps to do it again. Perhaps not.
Saps mumbled something that Flux couldn't understand. "...Didn't quite catch that."
Saps pulled his head back, his eyes having a glowy dream to them. "I said 'I love you', Flux."
Oh. Oh. Another wave of crimson red filled his cheeks, reaching his ears too. How was a guy this stupid the leader of an entire nation?
"I guess I love you too, idiot..."
