Chapter Text
The grass was green, the sky; a milky ocean blue. Coil had been here for almost a month now in this strange new world. Ripped away, right out of his sleep from Skateboards couch, and thrusted into this foreign world.
He’d observed things here since his, rude, awakening. Among his time here, he’d learned a bit about this world, and what inhabited it. “Humans” the main inhabitants, all hosted some sort of gear..or..no..”quirk” as they call it. Not much different from the Inpherno. Though, how could he get back there? “I’m here to take the U.A entrance exam.” “Alright, right this way sir.”
As many times as Slingshot called him old-looking, these guys sure were eager to enroll him into a high school! The first few exams, the written tests, those were easy. Despite his horrendous attitude, Coil was still very intelligent. Those exams? A total breeze. Things like math and science and writing, they weren’t too different from the Inpherno’s. However, he was aware he absolutely flunked history. Oh well. It was the practical test that Coil was more interested in anyway. It was only meant to last ten minutes, and all he had to do was rack up points by destroying some robots. Easy peasy. Seriously, the hardest part about it would be making sure other kids don’t steal his kills (or make sure he steals theirs). That’s fine. He stood in front of the big gates of the fake city that UA used for these practical exams (how rich was this school???), lost in a sea of kids. As the gates opened, and his gear flashed red, he knew that he was going to be the highest scorer in this whole damn crowd.
Coil bolted out, and away from the rest of the crowd, careful to separate himself from the snot nosed—CRASH! A huge ball of steel platinum welded together with bolts crashed through the building to the weat of him.
‘Damn! these buckets of bolts do work fast..but lets see what they’re REALLY made of!’ Coil rushed up to uppercut the gigantic robot, his gear flicking more colors than a rainbow. ‘Heh, thought this would’ve been a little harder.’ Coil smirked ‘I guess just waiting around for robots would be preettyy time consuming..and i dont got that..i should look for some brats to pick off’. Coil glanced over his shoulder a last time before jumping up and scaling a building, hoping to get a better look for more bots..and points to steal. “H-HEY THATS CHEATING!” a kid called from below as coil let out a single punch to take down the already beaten-up robot. “Heh,Looks like you gotta be faster twerp! Thats 74 points! Man, point farming is sooo easy, but too insufficient. All these little frys amount to nothing. Where are all the big fish?” Coli surveyed the surrounding area, eager to find even bigger bots to fry, and brats to beat. BOOM! coil whipped his head around towards the noise. A huge cloud of dust and smoke, about 100,000 studs —the main unit of measurement in the Inpherno—from his current location. “Aha, Gocha..”
Coil had to get creative in order to catch up to the huge thing, and to make sure no other students got to it before he did. He wasn’t really paying attention to the whole point system thing, but he figured that a machine that big had to have been at least ten points. The moment he got there however, it had already destroyed buildings and even the concrete below. But, just as quickly as he got there, the robot had… collapsed…… Coil stared at the piece of junk, scowling in disbelief. “Phuck. Knew I should’ve gotten there sooner…” He huffed, as he jogged over to the brat who beat him to it. To his arrogant glee, the kid was lying on the ground, all starfish pose and broken arms. “Vegetable hair punk.” Coil leaned over the kid, offering his hand with a grin. “Need a hand?” The kid glared back at him. Coil has a feeling he would’ve gotten flipped off if weren’t for the kids current… situation.
“Time is up~!” Coil swirled his head around towards the source of the sound, which he already came from the french fry looking announcer. An ear-splitting siren blared in the distance, officially marking the end of the phisical exam. By this point, a large crowd was already gathering around the ginormous busted up mecha, and the puny broccoli-haired kid. “Geez look at that kid..his arms are totally busted up!” “ I thought his quirk was a reinforcement type!”
‘Tch what a bunch of loud mouths’ “Excuse me son.” Coil looked this way and that, until he found the source of the noise. A short, old woman stood before him, holding a cane and dressed like a medic. “I needa get over to that boy over there” “Oh right, my bad” As Coil stepped out of the way, he noticed the other brats glaring at him, and the tubes on his arms. ‘looks like it’s time for me to go, results’ll be out a week right?’. As Coil was walking out from the crowd he made sure to bump everyone, earning back glares and snide remarks.
