Ice tongs stabbed into the ice, hauling them out of the water down a long assembly line.
The people working– Strong, large, bulky–
Except for one.
One much smaller boy trailed along with his reindeer calf, badly imitating the grown men.
It wasn't long until he tired of this laborious work. Despite that, he followed, even as his pitch black hair started frosting and losing its volume to the cold.
The boy huffed, pausing to pay some attention to the reindeer.
“C’mon, Ralph.”
