Robin would do anything and everything to protect her people and her home. So, when she found herself opposing her brother’s actions regarding his brief ascension to godhood, she had no one else to turn to. The Astral Express was taken out and it was just her against the power of Puppet Sunday’s mix of Ena the Order’s powers and Xipe’s harmonious powers. Her song wasn’t powerful enough, not without someone else’s power.
Just as her song reached its climax, flames as hot as the sun above came crashing down from the sky. When she looked up, she saw a boy with pink hair flying through the sky with a blue cat with wings on its back holding him. The boy soared through the sky and blew his flames into Puppet Sunday’s face which started to weaken him.
That’s it! That’s the power she’s been looking for!
Robin looked towards the boy and called out to him, alerting him and his cat. “Please lend me your strength, mister!” She says.
The boy and his cat smiled at her and flew down to stand beside her. “Yeah, let’s do it! And by the way, the name’s Natsu!”
Robin felt a smile appear on her face as well as she gripped her microphone tightly. She nods her head gently before looking up at Puppet Sunday firmly.
“Thank you for your help, Natsu!”
“No problem, lady! Now, help me up, Happy!”
“Aye sir!”
As the song reaches its peak, Natsu and Happy flew up into the air and gradually, Natsu gathered up lots of fire to use against Puppet Sunday. Robin, on the other hand, boosted Natsu’s strength tenfold through her harmonious singing. As if it were on beat, Natsu blew out a large beam of flames which he called “Fire Dragon’s Roar” and the flames seemed to weaken Puppet Sunday even further.
The scene looked like it came out of a fairy tale when Caelus and Stelle looked up to see what was happening. March and Dan Heng eventually looked up as well. And both Welt and Himeko followed suit. They all couldn’t believe it. Someone was actually here and taking down Sunday. There was someone who had the power to take down the powers of a god. It felt too good to be true but it was real.
Natsu blew out his Fire Dragon’s Roar as much as he could while Robin’s singing reached its peak and continued to buff Natsu’s strength even more than he had before. Eventually, all of the Astral Express watched as Sunday slowly dropped to the ground in defeat after Natsu obliterated him. Just as Natsu’s Fire Dragon’s Roar took Sunday out in one shot, Robin’s singing came to an end.
Honestly, this could bring anyone to tears and it certainly brought everyone from the Astral Express to tears.
Robin turned to look at the Astral Express with a tearful smile on her face as Sunday was officially declared defeated. As for Natsu and Happy, they looked down at the group as they hugged each other and celebrated victory.
They grinned at each other and Natsu gave Robin and the others a thumbs up. Robin, in turn, gave a thumbs up of her own. “Thank you again, Natsu!”
Natsu laughed happily and soon flew away, saying this before he left. “It was nothing, lady!”
