Chapter Text
You look at your phone, confused. What sort of cultist bullcrap is this???
“What is my life…” you sound tired, annoyed even. Who disrupts your sleep for stupid things like this? Getting out of bed, you seem to realize that the drawn curtains were slightly tampered with. In a moody shuffle to the window, you draw them shut as your ears pick up a peculiar sound. It sounds like… someone softly weeping in pain.
…
Whatever, it’s 3:05 A.M. It’s farrrrr too early for shenanigans. Your mind is probably messing with you. Or the phone alert. It is the reason why you can’t sleep now… You go downstairs to get some coffee. Might as well treat yourself if you can’t fall back into your bed in bliss anymore.
You live in a two-story house complete with a basement. The second floor is the sleeping quarters and you just reached the first floor, the living area. You walk to the kitchen, not bothering to turn on any lights as you’ve already grown accustomed to the darkness. Swiftly making your favorite blend, you calmly sit on the armchair of your living room, scrolling through your phone for anything interesting aside from the nuisances regarding the rude alarm while calmly drinking from your cup.
