THE LAND OF AMERICA is always been an animosity for Georgina Ahn since childhood.
Due to her parents' separation when she was five years old; her mother decided to migrate to Gary, Indiana for a fresh start. Stepping the soil of America is said to be the best decision that they had but Georgina thinks otherwise.
It's the sixties and having a different nationality is somewhat a big deal for people around Georgina. Despite having a decent job and Georgina excelling in the academics, they're considered as outcasts.
At the hype of white supremacy and the rampant racism of the black people not only in Indiana but across the United States, the newly migrated Georgina and Eliza Ahn were not safe by the discrimination by the people around them, even for young Georgina when she started going to school.
But it all changed when a boy by the name Michael befriended her, and from that, they became best of friends. Thick as thieves, what Jermaine would always tease to the kids who are both stuck like glue.
Georgina has always been with Michael. From his humble beginnings as the vocalist of the famous The Jackson 5 to a Grammy Award-winning solo artist. Like her, Michael has always been supportive of Georgina, seeing her as an aspirant skater up to her winning moment in the Olympics.
As they went through their different goals in life, they slowly drifted away to each other. Georgina focusing to her academics while continuously competing for the next gold medal while Michael aiming for more to his music career. As their worlds were separated, to the point that maybe, they don't need each other anymore because of the distractions and pursuits that their careers offer for them.
But then, as the sudden turn of events came to them where feelings that they carefully hid in the corner of their hearts explode.
Maybe destiny wants to give some wakeup call for them to realize they are meant to be. And sometimes, it would take a giant leap of faith to realize what their hearts truly beat.
Finally, rekindle the lost spark that they already had at the very beginning.
