New year parties with friends are always amazing , and it being Seventeen’s monthly meeting ? Even more amazing. The members left the place one by one , after bidding tipsy goodbyes . Hoshi, who was about to leave, was stopped by a faint voice calling him from behind .
“ Tell me Dino yah “ Hoshi asked , his eyes falling on the younger’s fidgety hands tugging the corner of his hoodie . The younger’s hesitant eyes finally met him , lips parting eventually.
“ Can I come to your home ? I mean , if you don’t have any other plans , I thought we could just hangout at your home “ Dino suggested with hesitation , Hoshi was taken back.
“ You have energy left to hang out , our maknae ? You look tired as hell “ Hoshi chuckled, ticking the younger’s chin .“ I do wanna sleep , but I don’t wanna be alone tonight . If that makes sense “ Dino shrugged his shoulders , Hoshi had the urge to coo but knowing the younger won’t hesitate to smack him , he just laughed heartily.
“ Sure baby , you don’t have to ask . Let’s go , it is getting cold “ Hoshi slipped his hand around the younger’s shoulder as they walked towards the parking lot.

The warm apartment welcomed them like a saviour from the harsh cold weather outside . They both rushed towards the room heater , crouching down to warm their palms. “ Go and wash up , just grab any pajamas you like from the closet “ Hoshi nudged Dino , who left towards the bedroom . Once Dino was back , Hoshi took his time for a refreshing shower.
Moving out of the washroom , he saw Dino drying his hair near the dressing table . “ You are here , Want me to dry your hair for you ? “ Dino asked , Hoshi nodded with a soft smile and found himself seated on the chair. Dino turned on the dryer , meticulously working on the elder’s hair . He glanced at Hoshi through the mirror that stood ahead of them , the elder’s gaze fixed on him made it tough for Dino to look away , gazes are magnetic.
Amidst the staring competition , Dino managed to finish his work . “ Good job love , thank you “ Hoshi raised from the chair , pinching the younger’s cheeks in gratitude.
“ So , T.V or sleep ? “ Hoshi gave the choice .
“ Sleep , please “ Dino whined , Hoshi chuckled while laying on the bed .
Dino dropped next to him , letting out a tired yawn. He turned towards Hoshi’s side , throwing his arm around the elder’s waist and burying his face into his neck. Hoshi smiled , wrapping his arms around the younger protectively . “ Good night , hmmm ? “ Hoshi murmured , Dino hummed in response.
However , Dino seeked more warmth . He moved closer , pressing their bodies tight . Then , he threw his right leg over the elder’s legs , in the attempt of finding a comfortable position . His cheeks were now rubbing against the elder’s soft cheeks . Hoshi let out a breath , opening his eyes slowly . Dino looked up , meeting that magnetic gaze which looked a little scary now . Being embarassed , Dino pulled back and turned towards the other side .
Hoshi chuckled , embracing Dino from behind for a spooning hug . Dino curled his knees inward , his hand hovering Hoshi’s arms which were wrapped around his waist . Hoshi snuggled his face in the younger’s neck , which earned a purr from Dino. Hoshi thought they were settled now , his brain shutting down slowly to sleep . But when the younger still moved constantly , Hoshi gave up.
He turned the younger to lay flat on bed , looking into those apologetic eyes . “ What is it ? “
“ Nothing , I’m sorry hyung . I think we have cuddled enough , I’ll stay in the corner “ Dino muttered , Hoshi swayed his head in disagreement.
“ No , you seem to want something . Ask me , what is it ? “ Hoshi demanded .
“ There’s nothing , I don’t know “ Dino said in his defence .
“ Baby , I’ve seen you since you were 13 . You’re 27 now , I’m the last person you should be lying to “ Hoshi stated , his gaze growing a little more intense .
“ I actually don’t know hyung , I feel like there’s something missing . I would ask you if I knew “ Dino pouted , tilting his head to the right .
Hoshi hummed in thought , lips curving into a smile . Dino was caught off guard when he was pulled on top of the elder , he was hovering Hoshi now , their chests pressed closer. Hoshi had his knees apart so the younger would lie in between comfortably.
Dino was beyond flustered at their sudden grown intimacy , the elder’s breath was hitting his face . Hoshi had his arms wrapped around Dino , while the younger’s palms stayed pressed to the bed on either side of Hoshi’s head.
“ Now , are we closer to what you want ? “ Hoshi asked in a low murmur , Dino’s ears turned red.
“ I think this is a bit .. too .. close “ Dino stuttered , gulping down his nervousness.
“ Take it easy , you’re too tense Dino . Breathe in , breathe out “ Hoshi gently patted the younger’s shoulder , guiding him with the easy breaths . It seemed to work for Dino , whose body seemed to ease out the tension.
“ Good boy . Now look at me , and try to think what you want “ Hoshi asked again in a low murmur . Dino eyes fell first on his hyung’s eyes , the small eyes which made them look similar at times. Then on his nose , which he loves to bop always . Then his eyes slowly trailed towards those plumpy lips , which oddly looked inviting and drawing closer at the moment . In a few seconds , he realized it wasn't just him who felt those fluttering emotions.
Hoshi raised his head up and pressed a peck against the younger’s lips , watching Dino’s eyes widen a little as he laid back on the pillow .
Dino’s brain processed quickly , was it okay to cross a little boundary with your bandmate of 11 years ? That’s a very formal way to address the Hoshi he loves to the universe and beyond. A little kiss won’t hurt their bond , indeed they can see it as a way to deepen their relationship.
“ What ? You seem to like it “ Hoshi chuckled, raising his head up once again . Dino slid his hands beneath the elder’s head , moving closer with a giggle .
“ Yeah , I seem to “ Dino pressed his lips against the other , closing his eyes to savour the moment . Hoshi leaned back , melting into the kiss . He didn’t push further as to move their lips , wanting to not lose the soft intimacy of the moment .
Hoshi wrapped his legs around the younger’s waist , deepening the kiss a little more . Dino smiled , overwhelmed by the fuzzy feeling forming in his chest.
Was it this nice to just have their lips pressed against each other ? He wondered .
They moved back a little , eyelids drooping . It was cozy to stay in each other’s arms , when the warmth of the other was all needed to lull them to sleep.
“ Good night ? “ Hoshi blurted , brushing their lips once again softly.
Dino smiled and closed his eyes , finally knowing what he needed “ Hmm , Good night “
