Kyoshi woke up precisly at 5:30am, she had a mission at 6:30 which gave her enough time to get up and get ready.
She still doesn't know who she got paired with, not that she'd care as long as it isn't Rangi, god how much she hated that woman... always angry, fuming, wants everything to be in her way
She was sure she woudn't be paired with her, or atleast she hoped so, she's the head's daughter afterall, I'm pretty sure the head won't pair her daughter with someone like me Kyoshi thaught.
Kyoshi is an orphan who used to work as a maid, ofcource her mother woudn't pair the lieutenant with her. Kyoshi thanked the spirits for that.

Kyoshi arrived at her workplace at approximetly 6:35 I'm five minutes late she thaught. She made her way inside and greeted the other workers as usual, Hei-ran saw her and started talking "You're late" she said sternly, "You're paired up with Rangi for the mission, no other recruits were available so we had to pair you two together" Kyoshi stopped, her eyes widening in shock, no she thaught this can't be happening, she suddenly heard someone scoff behind her and turned. Rangi, leaning against the door wearing her work clothes, wearing stilleto heels, short black skirt with sheer black tights, and her suit jacket. She looks beautiful, hot even Kyoshi would admit. But oh how mean and angry Rangi is.
She stared up at Kyoshi with a frown on her face, Kyoshi was also wearing her work outfit, which was similar to Rangi, except Kyoshi showed a tiny bit of her cleavage. "What!? No, I'm not working with her!" Kyoshi protests. Hei-ran looked up "You can't change the perosn you're paired up with" she said.
Rangi sighned and muttered "I can't believe I'm going to be working with you" Kyoshi replied with "Oh shut up I don't wanna work with you either" "Quiet both of you" said Hei-ran, she started explaining " For this mission you two are going to have to pretend to be... a couple" she said coutiously "WHAT" Both Kyoshi and Rangi said at the same time, Rangi laughed nervously "mom there is no way you're going to let me pretend to be her, her-" she spat out "girlfriend?!" "Wife" Hei-ran corrected. "No, no nope not happening" Kyoshi said "absolutely not" "well if you two don't then" Hei-ran said "the company will collapse" Rangi had her hands rolled into fists on her side from anger and frustration, whiel Kyoshi just had her brow furrowed and her shoulders tense.
"Fine" said Rangi while fuming "if this will keep our company up then" she paused and refused to meet Kyoshi's eyes not believing her own words either "I'll pretend to be your wife" Kyoshi just shook her head.
"C'mon Kyoshi" said Hei-ran "I know how much you two hate each other, but it really wasn't possible to pair you up with anybody else" Kyoshi replied in a low voice "fine then whatever".
As Hei-ran continued explaining, someone unknownst to them had entered the company and was about to barge through the office door, "So then you two will go in and-" BOOM the office door was crashed down.
Rangi face changed as soon as she saw who it was, her eyebrows furrowed and her face twisted in anger "Koulin" she spat her name. Koulin was Rangi's ex, she was such a horrible girlfriend that even Hei-ran didn't approve of her, and when she used to work here, not a single worker liked her, she kept humiliating and using Rangi, while also lowering her self esteem and making fun of her looks. Rangi ended up breaking up with hwr after finding out that Koulin had been cheating on her with a man, and her mom fired her.
"What do you want?" Hei-ran said coldly "and how did you get in here?" Koulin laughed "Oh relax" she turned to Rangi "I'm just here to see how my ex is doing, let me guess still hadn't found another girlfriend, it's not like anybody would want you anyways" she continued "I mean I'm pretty sure nobody would want somebody who dresses like that" she gestured to her clothes, Rangi lips were quievering and she was fighting to keep up the confident angry demeor, it's not that she was hurt of her words, it's that she still is hurt from the betrayel of Koulin and because she still just coudn't stand up to her because of how abusive she was which resukted in Rangi veiwing herself as pathetic and ugly whenever Koulin was around.
Hei-ran was about to speak when Koulin moved over to Kyoshi, touching her muscles and looking all over her "And who's this beauty over here" Rangi and Hei-ran were looking at what's happening stunned, "Say, are you single?" She tilted her head a bit to side and got closer to Kyoshi trying to be flirty with her.
But oh Kyoshi didn't like the way Koulin treated Rangi like that, and knew exactly how she was going to make Koulin jealous "No actually I'm not" Koulin looked confused, so were Hei-ran and Rangi, suddenly Kyoshi grabbed Rangi's arm and pulled her close to her side, "I'm Rangi's girlfriend" Rangi and Hei-ran looked the most stunned she had ever seen them, Kyoshi looked at Rangi as to play along "Y-yeah we're dating" Rangi said and plastered a fake smile on her face. Hei-ran and Rangi watched in satisfaction as Koulin's face twisted in jealousy "W-what?!", Kyoshi replied with " Yup been dating for two months now" Rangi rested both of her arms on Kyoshi's muscles, pretending to admire them, or atleast that's what she told herself pretending, most probably not.
"UGH!" Koulin turned on her heel and stormed out. Once they were sure she was out, Kyoshi and Rangi untangled from each other, Rangi was so damn thankful for that and was extremely shy to say it.
But she turned to Kyoshi anyways "Hey thanks" she said while still frowning but refusing to meet Kyoshi's eyes, there was a hint of blush on her cheeks "Y-yeah no worries".
"Y'know you both are really good at pretending" Hei-ran said, looking between them, suspicious. They both forgot for a second that she was there and startled. Hei-ran would never say it, but ever since Kyoshi joined the company, even thaugh Rangi and her were rivals, she always wanted her daughter to date someone as caring and as loyal as Kyoshi.

The mission carried out great and Kyoshi and Rangi just said that they're married showed their fake wedding rings and everybody believed them which led to them being able to access the building and get in, the thing is, them pretending to be married helped because all of the people married go there simply to look and admire the factory (and to get free samples). The reason they went there is because the factory had been producing products that include a substance that causes sickness, even after they tried to sue them, the owner of the factory was friends with the judge who was such an asshole and just let him off with a warning.
Anyways once they got in they secretly sneaked into the backrooms of the building and shut off the machinery, while also malfunctioning it to the point of it being unfixable so it stops producing the substance, and then they sneaked back outside.
- Back to the workplace -
Rangi barely knocked on the door and then opened it while streching her arms over her head "Aaaand mission done" she said to Hei-ran, Kyoshi followed close behind looling as tired as Rangi.
"Well good job then" said her mother, looking up from her work, when they thaught it was all over, suddenly the seciurity from the factory barged into the workplace and into the office "Hello ma'am sorry for the desruption but we've got a situation happening at the factory and we're simply trying to find the pwrson who caused it" said the officer, Kyoshi, Rangi, and Hei-ran immediately stood up "Well since you're ome of the couples who went in there we just want to ask you a couple of questions" "Ofcourse go on" said Kyoshi, on alert "Well first of all what did you do inside the factory?" "Me and my wife here observed and admired how the machinery worked and even tried some of the product" Kyoshi replied 'truthfully', thank the spirits the seciurity doesn't know who the perosn that sued the factory looks like, because then Hei-ran's plan woud've failed just now. "Ok-ay and just to make sure- out boss told us to make sure that those couples are actually married and not faking it because a couple of years ago an incident accured where two people pretended to be a couple so we'd think that they''re only there to admire the factory just like the other couples" "Oh yes ofcourse here's the certificate" she was about to hand him a fake marriage certificate when he said "Oh no ma'am we need you both to kiss, many people forge a fake certificate nowadays so yeah just to make sure" "Right ofcourse" Kyoshi said and then turned to Rangi who was trying her best not to blush, Hei-ran was in the back her eyes widened a bit and her mouth was pressed into a line, Kyoshi leaned down and Rnagi met her halfway through this is part of my job afterall Rangi thaught, their lips fit together so perfectly, Rangi forgot she even hated the woman in the first place, they broke the kiss then Kyoshi placed her hands around Rangi's waist making Rangi's breath hitch "Yup we're married" Kyoshi said, she held her so gently, the woman gazed at the taller woman infront of her for quite a short amount of time before turning her attention to the men.
"Alright well we got all we needed sorry for the desruption" after they left and Kyoshi let go of her which reued in Rangi being a little dissapointed, and flustered.
Kyoshi refused to meet Rangi's eyes because she was flustered as well. And that just made it all awkward.
Hei-ran watched, feeling bad for the two women standing infront of her, she decided not to intervene and just hoped for the best.
"This mission is over we don't ever talk about this ever again" said Rangi a bit angry, "she then stormed out of the room leaving both Kyoshi and Hei-ran behind.
"Don't worry she'll come back to her sneses soon" Hei-ran said when she saw Kyoshi's panicked expression.
