Kaito and Gakupo ran out of their favourite things in the world, ice cream and eggplants. So they needed a quick stop at the store, Gakupo got the car, and Kaito sat in the passenger seat like the passenger princess he is. Gakupo only road-raged 2 times instead of cussing everyone who delayed a second turning, choosing to stay focused on the shopping list in his mind. As they reached the store, Gakupo was focused on groceries, and Kaito was focused on one thing.
He went straight to the blind box section and saw Len restocking them. One of them caught his eye: Smiski. Little green things that hide in the corners of your house and glow in the dark. Kaito thought these were the peak of decoration, so he went over to Len. "Len, how much are these?" Kaito asked, pointing at the package. "These? ah... these are the BIG packs. has around... 6? Give or take. It's 6,303.94 yen. You want the tiny one?" Len asked, holding the regular one and putting it near Kaito. "There's only one in the small one... I'll take the big one!" Said Kaito, a huge grin covering his face.
"Would Gakupo even buy that for you? He's a really stingy spender.." Len muttered. looking at Kaito with a confused expression. Kaito was already off to Gakupo with the Smiskis. "Is that ice cream- put it back." "But Gaku-" "PUT. IT. BACK." Gakupo scream-whispered, leaving Kaito sniffling. "B-But- They're so cute... Please?" Kaito whispered, looking at Gakupo with teary eyes. "Fine.. we can buy it. What's the price?" Gakupo asked. "Six thousand-" "NO." Gakupo scream-whispered before Kaito could finish. "Nothing too expensive"
Kaito sighed, and he went to put it back. Gakupo was already in line when he came back, scanning the 2 tubs of ice cream and the 3 eggplants, and he saw that Kaito had snuck it into the cart. Kaito let out a nervous giggle at Gakupo's annoyed expression. Gakupo only sighed, scanning the Smiski package before putting it into the bag. He turned to Kaito before speaking, "You're lucky I love you, little idiot..." Kaito giggled, placing his hand onto Gakupo's and giving him a soft smile. Gakupo gave him a little grin before grabbing the shopping bag and walking to the car with Kaito.
