It was the night of the last day of school before spring break. Red was in her room that she shared with Chloe Charming, her best friend. Red was very stressed because she was going to spend a week with the Madrigals, her boyfriend’s family.
She was packing her suitcase, sitting up on the floor. Chloe was looking at her with a kind smile.
“I know you’re stressed. But it’s gonna be okay.” She said to Red.
“Me? Stressed, absolutely not.” Red said sarcastically, throwing a red sweater into the suitcase and moving her hands while talking.
Chloe just giggled and gave her a smile again.
“I swear it’s gonna be okay, the Madrigals are nice.”
“Yeah but it kinda stresses me out.”
“You’re a good person, Red. There’s no reason why they would hate you. I’m sure they are going to love you, genuinely.”
Red froze for half a second before looking back at her suitcase.
“I know..”
“Then there’s the proof they’re gonna love you.”
Red smiled and stood up.
“Thank you Chloe.”
Chloe giggled.
“Also you just packed that sweater at least 10 times.”
“Huh?”
“Just saying.”
“I did not?”
“Yes, you did.”
“Fine, i did. But can you blame me? I’m totally stressed out!”
“I get it, really.”
“Not to stress you, Bluey, but it’s 7pm and i thought you had a date with Hazel at Mme Samovar’s?”
“Huh..”
“The date, you know, two persons going outside?”
“Oh no! I’m late!!!”
Red mocked her.
“Looks like i’m not the only one stressed out.”
“Very funny.”
“It’s okay Goody-Two-Shoes, everyone makes mistakes.”
“Ok i’m out. See you in two weeks.”
Chloe took her jacket and a bag and started to go outside their dorm room.
“Chloe, wait.”
She turned her back to Red.
“What?”
Red got closer and hugged her. Chloe smiled and gave in too.
“You’ll be fine Red. I promise.”
“Don’t make me miss you so much, go.”
They both laughed, and Chloe headed off to meet her girlfriend at Auradon’s most famous diner. Meanwhile, Red was finishing to pack her suitcase.
