It was a nice, hot day in Green Hills. Sonic was laying back against a tree, eyes closed...Simply enjoying the sunshine, headphones on, listening to "The Human Sheilds" When SUUUUUUUDDENLYYYYYY his phone made that annoying ping, letting him know his little bro just texted him. Sonic opens his eyes and picks up his phone to read the text.
Sonic, I was testing a new gizmo, and it pinged some odd signal. based on my readings, it's some energy similar to the Time Stones
"...Goddammit" Sonic grumbles to himself. It was just 2 hours ago that Eggman last attacked. Sonic ran to Tails' workshop, getting there in only a few seconds. "So, what is it now?" The hedgehog groans "Well, Sonic, whatever Eggman's planning, we must stop it as early as possible!" The fox replies. Sonic sighs and grabs Tails by the legs, laying them over Sonic's shoulders. "Better hold on tight, we're going for a quick ride on the hedgehog express!" The hedgehog says, smirking, getting some energy from the prospect of beating up the old egg once more for the day, the fox chuckling at the term used by the hedgehog.
Soon, the hedgehog and his brother arrived at the bottom of a cliff, a large metal door embedded into the rock. Tails hops off of Sonic's shoulders, landing on his feet, kicking up some dust when he lands. As they approach, the door opens, revealing a long, steel hall with tubes under glass on each side. The liquid pumping through the glass tubes seemed to glow blue. Sonic and Tails walk down the halls of the base, hearing the quiet sound of..."Mario Mind Rhyme" deeper in the base, as well as the recognizable, but still unintelligible, voice of Eggman, as well as another voice they do not recognize...a voice with a slight British accent, as well being incomprehensible from the distance. The duo of Mobians continue deeper, the voices getting louder and easier to understand. Soon, they're met with a turn, the voices being heard right around thr corner.
"What is this rubbish you are showing me, doctor? I believe you said you were a professional!" The unknown British voice said "Yes, but this is perfectly professional, Washington!" Eggman argued. The two peak around the corner and see Eggman talking to...GEORGE WASHINGTON!?
