Beneath Hufflepuff Skies

Summary:

Che'Nelle Kobayashi thought her fifth year would be simple: study for her O.W.L.s, help care for magical creatures, and somehow decide what she wanted to do with her future.

Elias Hawthorne expected much the same.

As two of Hufflepuff's most dependable students, they've spent years side by side—studying in the library, caring for injured creatures, and supporting one another through every challenge Hogwarts has thrown their way.

But fifth year has a way of changing things.

When a series of mysterious events begins affecting magical creatures around the Hogwarts grounds, Che'Nelle and Elias find themselves drawn into an adventure that tests their courage, their friendship, and the future they've both imagined.

Between moonlit investigations, Quidditch matches, rainy afternoons in the library, and feelings neither of them knows how to name, they begin to discover that some bonds are stronger than magic itself.

A story of friendship, first love, loyalty, and finding where you belong beneath the skies of Hogwarts.

Born into a loving half-blood family, Che'Nelle grew up surrounded by stories from both Japanese and British wizarding traditions. Her fascination with magical creatures began when she helped care for an injured Mooncalf as a child.

Upon arriving at Hogwarts, she was sorted into Hufflepuff, where she quickly became known for her warmth and willingness to help others. Though she rarely seeks attention, her kindness naturally attracts people to her.

Now in her fifth year, Che'Nelle is beginning to think about her future while navigating friendships, responsibilities, and the confusing feelings developing in her heart for a fellow Hufflepuff named Elias Hawthorne.
