“Grunkle Stan!” Mabel said excitedly, jumping onto Stan’s bed and waking him up “yeah kiddo?” he says tiredly “Happy birthday!” she says smiling
“Oh, thanks Mabel” Stan says tiredly getting out of bed, Mabel runs off to go wake up Ford.
“Grunkle Ford!” Mabel says excitedly but being careful not to be too loud, “Good morning Mabel” Ford says looking up from his book,
“Why are you up already? actually, never mind, happy birthday Grunkle Ford!” Mabel says hugging him tightly, “thanks Mabel” Ford says smiling and hugging her back,
Mabel grabs Ford’s hand and leads him upstairs.
Upstairs in the kitchen, Mabel brings out a cake she and Dipper had got up early in the morning and made, the candles on it don’t have numbers and just spell out “old” that gets a laugh out of everyone.
After singing happy birthday and slicing the cake Ford and Stan go outside and sit on the front porch together,
"It’s been so long since we’ve been able to celebrate our birthday together” Ford says as he sits down next to Stan
Stanley nods “yeah… sorry about that” Ford shakes his head “It’s not your fault” he says, Stan laughs and rolls his eyes “you say that all the time” he says, “that’s because it’s true” Ford says,
Stan sighs playfully “all right, fine” he says “happy birthday Pointdexter”
Ford smiles “happy birthday Stan”
