Astro tossed and turned on his bed, eyebrow furrowing while his eye remained shut. He pondered about a particular toon.. Vee.
“It’s my nap time. Why am I wasting it thinking about Vee?” Astro muttered under his breath. He was so touch starved that even taking naps was difficult!
Though little did he know, Vee was already ambling her way to his dorm humming a quiet, simple tune. She figured since they hadn’t had a moment to bond in a hot minute, it would be best for her to visit now when they both weren’t busy.
Finally arriving, she gently rapped on the wooden door with her metallic knuckles awaiting a muffled “Coming!” From behind the door, but that was never heard.
Growing concerned, she slowly twisted the doorknob and was met with a sleepy yet troubled looking Astro.
“Astro?” She said.
“..Vee?” He replied.
“ASTRO!!!” She repeated, getting ready to dive onto him.
By the time she leaped into the air in his direction, he let out an audible ‘gulp’.
The stalky television pinned the lune onto his bed, peppering his whole face with smooches while his whole face lit up a bright blue.
“Hehe!- Vee!!” If he wasn’t awake then, he definitely was awake now.
..But then she took it up a notch. With tickles!
She knew the spots where he was most ticklish, swiftly moving her hands to his underarms then tickling him while he writhed and giggled.
When the tickles subsided, he reached out his own hands to her underarms in an attempt to tickle her aswell.. Though his attempts were futile.
She glared down at Astro, looking stern yet amused on the inside. He gave a meek, apologetic smile back. She let out a defeated sigh and a small meaningful grin, then layed down beside him. “You’re lucky you’re cute.”
Astro was so flustered to the point he was speechless! What was he even supposed to do in this situation?!
She slowly spooned Astro and nuzzled her screen against the side of his face, yet still being cautious not to nudge him with her corners of her head.
Slowly but surely they drifted off together, but it seems Vee forgot something. The door!
Sprout walked down the hallway to Astro’s dorm with Pebble, noticing the door was already slightly open he walked in.
“Hey, Dandy asked if you could watch Peb-.. Ah.” Sprout trailed off, seeing the two already asleep.
“Arf arf!” Pebble barked. “Hey! Bad Pebble. No barking!” The strawberry whisper-shouted. Pebble whined.
Well, he’d just have to inform Dandy that Astro wasn’t available. He closed the door nonchalantly before carrying the rock back to Dandy.
