The six friends sat on the stone steps next to each other, heads on shoulders and hands over the other's. Kaia rested her head on Harry's shoulder, sighing deeply.
"It's over, right?" she asked, staring blankly forwards and Harry's hand was over hers.
He raised her hand up to his lips and gently kissed it, caressing a small wound that she had gotten from the fights.
"It really is over." he answered.
Ron and Hermione were each in their own world with Hermione casting a healing spell on all of their wounds while Ron sat against the concrete pillar, his back getting dents from the stone.
He looked defeated despite winning. Fred was gone and now, there was no one to traumatize him again by turning his teddy bear into a spider.
George was doing worse. He felt bad for his brother and family. They all loved Fred Weasley.
Ginny and Pansy, yes, the Pansy Parkinson, the "mean" Slytherin was friends with them. She was even more than friends with Ginny.
The two whispered words of affirmation to each other, cheering each other up. Pansy sandwiched Ginny's hand between hers and kissed her cheek.
When Hermione got to Harry and Kaia, she muttered a quick spell and Kaia's cut on the back of her hand slowly faded. She whispered a quick thank you and shifted slightly beside Harry.
"It's always going to be you and against the darkness, Kaia Lovegood." Harry said, turning his head to Kaia and kissing the top of her head.
She looked up and forced a smile, but it was still warm, like always. She liked the sound of what Harry said, "You and me, huh. I love that." she smiled.
Harry's face lit up when she smiled, he loved her with all his heart. "You and me, together." The sun slowly set and he pulled her in for a kiss. It was gentle and soft, slow and steady, like this was the last kiss he'll ever get from her.
Then suddenly, a green light aimed at Kaia. "Avada Kedavra!" a death eater was still alive and casted the spell at her. Harry froze when her still warm body fell, greeting the stone steps with a soft thud.
