Enjin hated Gris.
He hated his perfect smile, his perfect eyes, his perfect face, his perfect hair, his perfect body, his perfect hands, his perfect voice...
Gris was the most perfect person Enjin knew. It pissed him off to an extent, but he admired Gris.
Yeah. He admired him. That's all. Gris was a good guy. Really nice.

Gris was in the mess hall (i think thats what they called it i lowk forgot) earlier than others this morning. He had already eaten, and was making some breakfast for Follo and Rudo, since he knew they had had a difficult mission the day before. Semiu was also in the kitchen, complaining about the amount of paperwork she had to do because of Akuta's reckless tendencies.
The door opened and Enjin walked in, just as Semiu started on a ramble about how Enjin was a major contributor to her loads of paperwork. Gris looked up briefly at Enjin then looked back down at the sandwiches he was making.
"Heyy~ good morning both of you," Enjin stumbled a little as he walked in. "What... are you guys doing~?"
"I'm talking about you," Semiu responded back sharply. "Are you drunk? It's literally 7am."
Enjin laughed a bit louder than normal and shook his head.
Gris smiled. "Semiu, I think he just woke up too early today."
Enjin grinned and nodded, before sitting down at one of the tables.
Gris continued to cook, and Semiu continued to complain. Eventually when Gris finished both sandwiches, he looked up at Enjin, who was passed out with his head on the table.
"Hm." Gris grimaced. "He hasn't been getting enough sleep."
Semiu turned to look at Gris.
"I mean, now you point it out, he does have really dark circles under his eyes." Semiu walked over to Enjin. "Should I wake him up?"
"No... it's fine. Let him sleep for now. When other people start showing up, we'll wake him up so he doesn't take up too much space."

Enjin woke up pressed against someone's shoulder, as they talked idly with another person across the table. What the hell...
"Mm... wh..." Enjin lifted himself up, only to realise that he had passed out... on Gris' shoulder?!! What?! He was sure he had fallen asleep by himself...
Gris and another guy chuckled at Enjin. Follo and Rudo were opposite to the two of them, eating the breakfast Gris had prepared for them.
"What the... fuck?" Enjin rubbed his eyes. "Sorry for... falling asleep on ya..."
"It's okay. I could tell you needed the sleep."
"Oh, uh, um..." Enjin stammered. "M'kay."
Enjin leaned back again, and without realising, he had fallen asleep.

"Enjin."
Enjin's eyes snapped open. He was yet again asleep on Gris, but this time Gris seemed to be asleep too. When had they fallen asleep?
"Enjin. You're needed."
Enjin looked over at Semiu, who seemed to be close to punching him in the face.
"We need backup, not a passed out adult sleeping on his friend like a child."
"Damn... you don't need to be so harsh..." Enjin muttered jokingly.
He tried his best to squeeze himself past Gris' massive body without waking the other man up, and begrudgingly followed Semiu out the door.

Gris woke up to a tap on the shoulder, and Zanka standing there. It was quite dark now, and difficult to see anything.
"Gris... it's pretty late. Do you wan'ta go back to your room?"
"Where's Enjin?"
"...huh? He's um, in his room, I think," Zanka answered. "Why?"
"Uh, nothing. It's fine," Gris stood up and stretched, walking aside Zanka into the hallway. He stopped at Enjin's door and knocked.
"...UGHHH, Semiu, leave me alone! I told you-"
"It's Gris. And Zanka, too."
"Oh! Haha. Uh, give me a second."
The sound of footsteps and fabric was heard before Enjin appeared at the door.
"Hey Grissy. And Zanka, too! You're okay now, right?" Enjin pat Zanka on the head. "You fought really strategically. Cool stuff."
Zanka's eyes shone before he composed himself, holding back a smile. "Thank you..."
Gris pat Zanka on the shoulder. "Wanna head back to your room?"
Zanka nodded and practically zipped away, closing the door a bit more heavily than usual.
Gris cleared his throat and walked into Enjin's room, closing the door behind him.
"Haha, woah there~ , slow down Gris-"
"Enjin, quiet. I'm worried about you."
Enjin paused, slightly surprised, then smiled.
"I appreciate it, but really, I'm alright."
"Are you? Really?" Gris sighed. "What did you eat today?"
"What? What do - um, like, I ate, some..."
"What did you eat yesterday?"
"I ate- a piece of bread, and also... uh, also, I..."
"Do you see what I'm saying, Enjin?"
"Look, I've been eating a little bit less for the past few days, but I eat A LOT-"
"Yeah, irregularly. Enjin."
"What?"
"You can't continue like this. It's definitely affecting you."
"..."
"Why do you do it?"
"Huh?" Enjin took a step back. "Why do you care? It's rude to pry into others' personal business, you know."
"I care about you, Enjin, so sit down and talk to me."

Enjin sat down on his bed and Gris settled down beside him. (im lowkey starting to cringe out (and also project) so sorry if this gets shitty from now on)
"So tell me, what's wrong?"
Enjin leaned back on his hands and tapped one of his fingers anxiously.
"I dunno, I, just forget to eat sometimes..." Enjin muttered. "And... uh, I don't know if this makes sense, but, it sort of feels like my diet is one of the only things I can really control in my life right now, you know?"
"I understand."
"And... I mean, you know I'm not an amazing person. I drink a lot, and I smoke a lot, and I'm irresponsible, too."
"You are very much an amazing person despite all those things, but continue."
Enjin paused, and turned to look Gris in the eye.
"What?" Gris smiled. "I'm not lying."
"Man, if you were a woman, I'd probably be in love with you."
"...you must have a really bad memory, Enjin, because you've told me that before. Just without the 'man, if you were a woman' and the 'i'd probably' bit."
"Oh. Yeah, oh cool, yeah did I actually say that? Was I drunk? Yeah, I was probably drunk. Okay."
"That's beside the point. Continue." Gris squeezed Enjin's hand.
"Wh- you can't just say continue and proceed to hold my hand."
"Continue."
"Bruh (this is so ooc). Okay...there's um, not really much else to say. I mean, sometimes I think, y'know, maybe if I don't eat... people will realise I'm not alright, and shit... umm yeah. Uh, that's really stupid."
"No, it's not."
"I... okay, um, yeah. That's it."
Gris ruffled Enjin's hair and kissed him on the cheek.
"Enjin, start eating more, please. I can't bear to see you like this."
"..." Enjin nodded, slightly dumbfounded. "Yeahhhh... I will......"
