Fairy Tail Origins: Velmora Saga

Summary:

(Changed this)

I write oneshots and stuff about my au called (Velmora Saga), an Bryan and Oc-Focused au where there is not really a full story but somewhat of a plot. This au heavily more compliment by the anime since there were some things I got annoyed about in the series(I am fully aware that only 40% of the origins youtubers actually watched Fairy Tail.)

Notes:

I wrote this at midnight yall, that's why it's cut off so damn early.

Chapter 1: Can't Heal Without Blood(1/2)

Chapter Text

"You're an idiot, you know that?" Bryan sighed, smacking the back of the purple haired demon head before walking to the other side of the cave. Ignoring the sound that came out of the older man's mouth, he leaned his back against the cold wall's of the cave, crossing his arms. Of course, the moment they finished their job, Bryan's ears picked up the rain starting to pour down instantly, and not only that, "You didn't have to take the hit for me."

A chuckle came out of the demon before a wince of pain followed. He ruffled a hand through his messy hair, moving a part of his hair that hid away the bloody slash that crossed through his chest, standing his clothes with a ugly red. "Shitttt, you’re right about that.” He shrugged then, letting out a small laugh, before slumping down to the ground, resting his other hand on his knee.

Bryan rolled his eyes. It’s been maybe around, what, three years since he left the country of Fiore? Yeah, that’s right.

The man that was currently injured was Abel, the one who offered the fire dragon slayer to join a guild called the “Verdant Pact”, a guild that rested in a place that only snowed. A lot of things have happened in the past three years, but we’re not getting into that.

Abel..was something all right. He seemed pretty chill, but people tend to avoid the man, without reasons, it was strange. But he was surprisingly one of the closest people to Bryan in a long time, and that said a lot about him, yet the man somehow manages to make Bryan feel the most comfortable and relaxed in life, forever! …Sometimes.

No one in the guild knows much about Abel, yet it was the new guy(and probably the Guild Leader) who figured out what made the purple haired guy stand out so much.

He was a man-eating demon.

“Whatcha thinkin’ about?” If Bryan was thinking, all his thoughts were cut off from Abel’s voice. Bryan shook his head a bit, before taking note of the man’s ruby eyes, and it felt that the demon was deeply staring into his soul. He looked unhuman, more like a vampire in Bryan’s opinions.

“Nothing much,” Bryan replied, though his own eyes started to trail on Abel’s inflicted wound. “Think we should take a trip to that guild?” He joked, his lips curled upwards slightly seeing the demon’s face turning pale, so Bryan changed the topic. He tilted his head towards the entrance of the cave, noticing that the rain wouldn’t be stopping for a while. “I’m kidding, but I doubt we’ll be able to get back to the guild for a while.” Holding up his palm, a small fire came out.

Abel’s face returned to normal as he saw the fire, “Nah. I got used to the weather a long time ago,” he shook his head, “What’s really bugging me is about this damn scar on my chest!” He pouted slightly.

Bryan chuckled a bit, but still went over to his friend. The fire in his hand lit up the darkened cave, and he brought it close to Abel’s chest. The wound was deep, and it had only been a couple of minutes after the slash was inflicted, but a scar like this was nothing for the demon.

Abel lips twitched to a frown, sighing, “I should’ve killed those guys when I got the chance. Did we really  have to turn those criminals in?” he whined.

“For someone your age, you really act like a kid sometimes,” Bryan bantered, receiving a glare.

“And this is the thanks I get for protecting you!?” Abel piped, “I should’ve let you take the hit then!”

“Hey! It’s not my fault, really.” Bryan argued, but he knew that Abel was joking. Bryan sighed, bringing his body down to the ground, before sitting with his legs crossed, “Don’t you have that weird ability of yours though?” He asked, raising an eyebrow.

Abel blinked, before realizing what he meant, “Yeah, but—” he stopped himself from talking to stare at Bryan in confusion.

“But what?” Bryan mused, not understanding what he just put him into.

“Do you know what I have to do…you know, to actually heal myself?” Abel asked.

Now it was Bryan’s turn to be confused, “I…” He opened his mouth to respond, before sheepishly rubbing his head, “Eh… no?”

Abel continued to stare at Bryan, thinking about something, before he smirked, “Want to help me then?”
