Chapter Text
April brought a welcome shift in perspective for Justin. Every other day—specifically on ACE days—offered a designated window to navigate his intricate bond with David. David was the quintessential gym-class royalty, a four-square champion whose effortless athletic charisma made him feel like Justin's perfect counterpoint. "Hey guys!" he announced, his voice vibrating with an infectious, magnetic enthusiasm.
Justin’s attention locked in instantly, captivated by the stranger's walk—a sharp, deliberate strut so effortlessly chic it could have sent a Vogue talent scout into a spiral. Watching him move, a sudden, fierce clarity washed over Justin.
From the moment I read him, Justin thought sharply, I knew he was mine.
