Chapter Text
It was a normal day. Well, as normal as it can get for Isagi. Training, games..training. Of course Isagi loved soccer, more than almost anything else. It was just that at times it got a little boring. Once they finished practice, training, all of it, what was left to do?
He does have friends he can talk to, which is his go-to when he needs to find something to occupy his time. The only issue is that after a while, Hiori and Kurona started trying to get Ness to get closer to everyone. Which Isagi wouldn’t care for if Ness didn’t hate him for no reason.
Actually, it wasn’t for no reason. It was because of Kaiser. He should really get over it.. it’s not like Isagi wanted him any more than Ness did. He can have him all he wants. Don’t even get Isagi started on him.
It’s just that Ness was very passive aggressive. So of course he avoided both him and Kaiser. So now he had second thoughts about spending time with Hiori, Yukimiya, Kurona, Kiyora, all of them. He just wishes there was something to do when he was off the field.
…
It was 4 in the morning. Isagi never woke up this early, usually he woke up a few minutes before the lights turned on. It was a little odd. He can always just go back to sleep, maybe a glass of water would help. He got out of bed and made his way to the cafeteria.
.
He yawned as he grabbed a paper cup. He filled it up with cold water and then went to sit at one of the tables. He took a sip from the cup. It ran through his entire body. From his dry throat, which was now hydrated, to his chest, and into his stomach. He shivered from the chill of the room and the water.
Just then, he heard the tiny pitter patter of feet. He decided to ignore it, he just woke up, his ears may not have woken up fully. He took another sip. But he heard the noise once again. Out of curiosity, he bent over searching the floor. Obviously he saw nothing.
He sat back in his chair, and then he saw it. It was the size of his hand. Staring back up at him, it was like a doll. It had dark blue hair with a little sprout on top, sleepy eyes, and the same Blue Lock themed pajamas he was wearing. His face was droopy, he looked just as Isagi imagined he looked before this moment.
He was struck, motionless. A small part of him thought this was a dream. He knew it wasn’t when the being in front of him sneezed. Isagi could feel some of the wetness on his hand, proceeding to wipe it on his pants. Then the Mini-Isagi stood up and leaned over the cup. Isagi snatched the cup before both of them fell over. Mini-Isagi pleaded and tugged at the cup.
He must be thirsty.. Isagi tilted the cup just enough so Mini-Isagi could get some water without it spilling everywhere. The little guy held up the cup as he proceeded to drink. Isagi noticed that its hands were balled up like play dough until he was reaching for the cup. It was only then that his little fingers came out of the ball. That was odd.
After he was done drinking he jumped in the air. It was adorable. Isagi finished the rest of the cup and left to throw it away. When he came back the Mini-Isagi stretched and laid on the table. Isagi whispered, “Hey, you can’t sleep here Mini-Sagi..” He said some kind of gibberish before continuing to try and sleep.
Isagi assessed for a moment before reaching out to pick him up. He scooped Mini-Isagi into his hands, he let out some tiny grumbles, but eventually he held Isagi’s thumb as he carried him back to the room.
.
When he got back to the bedroom, Isagi climbed into bed, making sure that Mini-Isagi was secure. He put him down on a pillow, pulling the covers over himself. “Night Mini-Sagi..” With no response, he tried to go back to sleep. The last thing he felt was the shift of the blanket, and the warmth from Mini-Sagi.
…
When Isagi woke up again, the lights were already on. Yet Mini-Sagi wasn’t next to him.? Maybe it really was a dream. Isagi paid no mind to it. He got out of bed and did his usual routine, waking up Kurona and getting breakfast. After Kurona woke up he walked to breakfast with Isagi.
“How did you sleep?” Kurona yawned, clearly not awake yet. “Still sleepy, sleepy..” Isagi giggled as he continued to walk. “I’m sure you’ll be fine after breakfast.” Just as they went through the doors he felt someone pull him back. He looked back and found it was Bachira pulling on him.
“Meg-! What are you—” He only let go once they were in a secluded area. “Yoichi! Yoichi!! Look at what I found.!” He lifted his hands.
Inside there was Mini-Isagi and.. Mini-Bachira? He looked exactly like normal Bachira, just, the same size as Mini-Isagi. His eyes widened. “Meguru! You have a mini too?” Bachira looked up at Isagi in confusion. “Wait— you already knew?”
Isagi explained, “Early this morning, I went to get some water so I could go back to sleep. Then while I was down there I saw him.” He pointed at Mini-Isagi. “I honestly thought it was a dream when I woke up and he wasn’t there.”
Bachira nodded in understanding. “Ohhh. This morning Otoya woke me up and showed me Chibi-Bachira and Chibi-Otoya! While I was still talking to this guy, I heard you climbing onto the bed!” Both of the mini’s seemed to be speaking to each other. It sounded like the same gibberish Isagi heard before.
They were so animated, Mini-Isagi’s sprout even sprang up when he was particularly interested in whatever Mini-Bachira was saying.
“Wait, did you say Otoya had a chibi too.?” Bachira nodded. “If Otoya has one and we both have one, do you think anyone else has one?” Isagi asked, Bachira smiled. “We better go and find out!” He sprinted back to the cafeteria. “Meguru, wait up!” Isagi followed after him.
When they finally got back to the eating area they saw them. All over the place, there were tiny versions of all of the players. “Wow.”
“Bachira! Get your breakfast and come eat!!” Otoya called from a table of the Barcha players. Bachira pushed Mini-Isagi into his free hand. “Here ya go Yoichi! I’ll see you two later~” He waved as he made his way to get breakfast.
Mini-Isagi whined as Bachira walked away. He tried to climb out of Isagi’s hand but he cupped it, making the smaller fall back. “Come on Mini-Sagi, we gotta eat.” After getting breakfast he carried him all the way to the table of Bastard Müchen.
