Work Text:

Nagi was slouched on the soft and expensive couch belonging to the heir to the Mikage Corporation. He ruined the neat presentation and displaced the plush pillows as he used them for his own personal comfort. He kept scrolling on TikTok, discovering multiple lives throughout his mindless scrolling, groaning when he found another of the lives thanking viewers for strange gifts. A small noise emerged from the door and a purple haired individual strolled in. He immediately walked toward his lazy companion with a warm smile and ruffled his hair.

“Hey Nagi, did you hear? We can't come back to Blue Lock for a bit,” Reo lifted his hand from Nagi’s hair and sat next to him.

“No, what happened, Reo?” Nagi set his phone and sat up. He moved next to Reo and placed his head on his shoulder.

“Oh, you haven’t? Well, the building set on fire,” Reo casually replied. “We have to wait for a little, but we should still practice so we can be the same as when we left, maybe even better!”

“Who burned it?” Nagi asked. “When did that happen?” Reo’s smile faltered a bit. He recalled the previous night that was flooded with ash, sweat, and the weight of Nagi on his back. Many accusations surfaced that night, but it was never confirmed who the arsonist was. As a result, all the people in Blue Lock were sent home until further notice.

“Ah…well we don’t really know yet, it happened yesterday. You slept through it, and I carried you out,” Reo nervously laughed to brighten the moment. “That’s why you woke up here this morning.”

“Wow, Reo’s so strong,” Nagi praised, looking at Reo. “Thank you.” Reo laughed and ruffled Nagi’s head again.

“Well, anything for my treasure!” Reo exclaimed.

Nagi simply enjoyed the moment and subconsciously looked back at his phone which was fixed on another live. Nagi simply groaned, and Reo looked over at Nagi’s screen. He plastered a smile before opening his mouth.

“Wow, I didn't think you were the person who’d watch lives,” Reo rested his hand on Nagi’s shoulder.

“I don’t, they just keep popping up,” Nagi replied, slightly annoyed. “Do you think you can buy TikTok, and fix this? I’m sick of these ads.”

“Well, I’ll see what I can do,” Reo doubtfully assured Nagi. Nagi’s finger hovered above the exit button but the person in the live began to speak.

“Yeah, this is my boyfriend, and thank you for the ten galaxies! I could buy a whole car with this!” she exclaimed, and tugged a man into view. “Okay! I’m going to go now, but come back next time!” The live suddenly ended, leaving only the woman’s profile to view. Nagi glanced at Reo.

“Wait, we get money for this?” Nagi asked, a small glimmer in his eye. Reo provided an awkward grin.

“Well, yeah…but why does that matter? You have me!” Reo quickly brushed the question off. “And, those lives don’t cover half of what you make!”

“Hey, Reo. Do you want to do it together?” Nagi offered, wondering if Reo wanted to do the activity together. Reo looked confused as Nagi continued. “We just have to say things for money. We’re popular enough, we can get so much money for doing nothing.”

“Nagi, let’s not. It’s not safe to do,” Reo softly said. “And you know you don’t need any more money.” Nagi nodded, but thought how easy he could earn money if he just sat down and especially when he is a famous soccer player. He thought about all the things he could do to pay back Reo for all of his efforts. For a while, Nagi had recurring thoughts on how much Reo had changed his life and himself as a person. As a small “thank you”, Nagi wanted to get Reo a special gift as appreciation, but didn’t know what he would want.

“Okay,” Nagi leaned in and closed his eyes, loving the quiet moment he shared with Reo. Reo leaned closer in reply and gently sighed out of relief before rubbing Nagi’s shoulder.

Nagi laid in the warm comfort of Reo’s king bed as his arms were wrapped around Reo, the dark engulfing them. Nagi was hesitant to leave Reo’s warm embrace, but he did want to pay him back for his efforts, even if was a pain. Nagi wanted to give Reo something special, even if he could have the whole world if he paid enough money. Nagi reluctantly slipped away from Reo’s arms and snuck over to the closet and slowly opened it, and took a tall black stand tripod. Nagi found it months ago when he was finding clothes, and he questioned why Reo would have a tripod. He brushed it off, but it surprisingly never left his memory. Nagi grabbed the tripod along with his phone and quietly crept to the living room and set up his phone on the stand. Nagi slumped on the couch after he finished and let out all his exhaustion in one sigh. He opened the previously mentioned app and fumbled a little, finding the “Start Live?” button, and pressed his finger on the button. His face immediately was shown and many people joined immediately, spamming many comments that Nagi was too lazy to read. He assumed they were all positive and supportive, so he didn’t bother.

“Hi…” Nagi lazily waved and set his hand down. “How is everyone…” Out of nowhere, a cartoony rose appeared on the screen, and Nagi noticed, and thought about the woman from earlier. “Thanks.” Suddenly, on the bottom, he noticed constant gifts flooding in, along with more constant supportive comments. Throughout the night, many other users kept buying digital gifts for Nagi, as an attempt to get noticed. He lazily thanked a few and minimally spoke to his audience, but they seemed to pay no mind. Before he knew it, daylight crept from the horizon. “Oh, I need to go, bye.” He ended the live and placed the tripod behind a plant next to the TV. Reo softly made his way back to the bedroom and waited a moment to Nagi if Reo was actually awake and was waiting for the perfect moment to catch him in the formidable act of disobeying Reo. Nagi’s lips parted and murmured broken sentences. “Reo? Are you awake?”

“No…I got a sea bass….Nagi, we will win the fishing contest…” Reo whispered. “Oh … the fishing rod….maybe…a barracuda this time..?” he flipped himself around and tossed the blanket off. “Shit…it’s a sunfish, Nagi…what should we do..?” Nagi sighed and slipped beside him and placed the blanket on Reo’s mumbling body. Reo had been having constant nightmares about fishing horrible fish and losing all of his hard work. Nagi was a witness to Reo’s complaints to those nightmares, but was left more confused than remorseful. Nagi was wondering how random Reo’s imagination had become, but found a fishing rod under the bed when dropping his phone, and didn’t question it.

“Nagi! wake up, you’ve been sleeping forever,” Reo sleepily patted Nagi’s head as a greeting. Nagi, sleep deprived from earlier, kept snoring loudly. “Treasure, you’re so cute, even when you snore louder than a crowd,” Reo whispered and smiled. He lifted himself and Nagi up and sat on the edge of the bed, the morning sun leaking onto the bed and onto the two men. Nagi’s head perched on Reo’s shoulder, and kept sleeping. After a few more gentle shakes and nudges, Nagi’s snoring became softer and eventually lifted his eyes open. He looked at Reo and closed his eyes.

“Reo, let me sleep a bit longer,” Nagi murmured, rubbing his eyes. “It's too early.” Nagi was regretting his decision staying up on his couch, abusing his fame to gain more money because he had to lose precious hours of sleep. Though, it was for Reo’s sake, so everything is worth the effort.

“Nagi,” Reo gave him a tired smile. “It’s 1:00.” He adjusted his posture and hugged Nagi’s side. “Let’s go eat.”

“Oh, can Reo feed me?” Nagi sighed and his mouth flattened and looked down at Reo to gaze at his face. Reo quickly noticed darkened circles underneath Nagi’s eyes and lifted his hand to rub his under eyes. “Reo, that feels weird.”

“Oh,did you go to bed late?” Reo questioned, in which Nagi quickly nodded. “Well, that’s weird, we went to bed together.”

“I was playing games. I didn’t want to wake you up, so I played on the floor,” Nagi wrapped his arms around Reo and leaned on him. Nagi figured if he just mentioned his usual habits as the problem, Reo would brush it off. Luckily, Reo sighed and stood up, gesturing Nagi to accompany him. Nagi stood up and laid on Reo’s back, in which he slipped his hands on Nagi’s legs, and hoisted him up and out of the room.

“Nagi, you’re getting heavier,” Reo commented as they stumbled down the stairs. “You’ve been training too hard.” Nagi yawned as they made it to the living room and Reo set Nagi down on the living room couch. Reo turned around and noticed the poorly hidden tripod behind a plant.

“What’s this?” He walked over and moved the plant aside. “Nagi? Why is a tripod here?” his warm tone changed to more stern as he turned to look at Nagi. “Don’t lie. Do you know why this is here?”

“I don't know,” Nagi blurted out. “I was thinking the same thing.” he looked at Reo to see if his expression softened, but it got worse, his eyebrows furrowing.

“Nagi. I told you not to do TikTok lives,” Reo walked over and stood in front of Nagi, meeting his gaze. “It's dangerous, I don't want you to get hurt.”

“I know. That's why I didn't do that, Reo,” Nagi retorted, keeping his voice calm, seemingly unbothered. “I don’t even know what this is.”

“Really?” Reo pressed. “Don't lie to me, Nagi. You can’t be doing this. We both know you know what a tripod is.”

“Reo, I swear,” Nagi lied, hoping to defuse Reo’s heightened anger. Nagi wondered why this was dangerous, because his phone blocked most trackers and many couldn’t identify where he lived because of the safety precautions Reo took. Well, according to Nagi.

“Okay. I trust you,” Reo walked over to the tripod and lifted it up. He gave Nagi a piercing glare. “I hope you’re not lying.” He brought it over to a nearby closet and shoved it inside carelessly. He slammed the closet door and looked at Nagi with a relieved expression. “Well Nagi, would you like to eat?”

“Anything Reo cooks is good,” Nagi replied, happy Reo is back to his earlier loving self. “Tell me when you’re done.”

“Of course, my treasure,” Reo grinned and walked to the kitchen. Nagi pulled out his phone and opened it to a bank statement. He clicked on it, and was shocked to see that he had gained over ten thousand dollars overnight. How many things could I get that could pay Reo back? How many games could I get with that? Nagi thought as he clicked on TikTok again. He was greeted with a compilation of himself at the dead of night during his live, with overly sweet captions. The video had gained copious amounts of traction, even when it was posted four hours ago. He worriedly scrolled past the video, wondering if Reo would see the video and would become livid. Nagi quickly brushed it off, as that scenario could be thought about later, and he doesn’t have the energy for this.

“How is the food, treasure?” Reo asked, an expectant light in his eyes. “I’ve been practicing for a little.” Reo served Nagi supposedly eggs and pancakes, but the eggs were completely burnt on the bottom, and the waffles seemed almost plastic-like.

“It’s good Reo, thank you,” Nagi beamed as he chewed slowly. “Your cooking is always good.” Reo smiled as he leaned on the table, and watched Nagi eat with great pleasure.

“Thank you, Nagi!” Reo exclaimed. He walked over to his partner that was chewing his rubbery food and ruffled his hair again. “You’re so nice, and you’re eating quickly for someone who thinks everything is a hassle.” Reo moved Nagi’s hair from his forehead and placed a gentle kiss on the same spot. Nagi made it obvious he enjoyed the moment by leaning on Reo and kept eating.

“Not if it's you,” Nagi replied, opening his mouth to eat the burnt egg. “You're not a hassle.” He leaned his head on Reo’s body and kept cutting into obviously incorrectly made pancakes. Deep down, Nagi felt great relief for calming Reo down, and how he was determined to always keep him this happy by repaying Reo back. Sure, he didn’t know what to get him, but it was only a matter of time before he figured it out.

Midnight arrived once again, and Nagi found himself setting his phone up on a fruit bowl on the kitchen counter, determined to get enough money. Just one more night. Nagi sighed, and pressed the “Start Live?” button. Viewers came flooding in once more and were surprised he started another live, but nonetheless, they began sending gifts like clockwork. Following a similar routine, Nagi navigated through the night once more, and answered fewer questions than yesterday. Nagi’s half-thought out plans were cut to a pause when he heard footsteps coming from his bedroom. Nagi immediately grabbed his phone and turned it off, and looked out the hallway to see Reo stumbling into the kitchen and immediately jumped when seeing Nagi’s dark figure staring in his direction in the dark.

“Nagi?” Reo cautiously called out. He walked closer and darted over to the light switch and turned it on. Nagi shielded his eyes in response and groaned.

“Reo, it’s me,” Nagi huffed. Reo nervously laughed and flicked the light off. He opened the upper kitchen cabinet and grabbed a glass, his laugh slowly trailing away.

“Sorry Nagi, I was just making sure,” Reo walked toward the fridge and pulled it open with ease. “What are you doing awake? It’s 3 in the morning.” Nagi looked in the fridge as he crafted a new excuse as Reo recieved water from his fridge’s water dispenser.

“I was hungry, but i didn’t find anything, the fridge is bare,” Nagi shrugged. “I was thinking about what to do, and then you woke up.”

“Really?” Reo glanced back at the fridge that looked suddenly bare with cans of soda. “Oh, I guess you’re right. I'll go shopping later, I'm sorry my treasure.” Nagi hummed as Reo walked over and offered him the glass of water. Nagi took the glass and slowly sipped the water before placing it on the counter. “Let's go to bed, Nagi.”

“Okay, Reo,” Nagi stood up and leaned against him as they walked to their shared bedroom. Nagi’s overheating phone was left on the counter, the chat blowing up with confusion. Reo slipped into bed and his partner closely followed, enjoying the warmth of the covers. Nagi tucked his head in the crook of Reo’s neck and pulled him close. Reo glanced at Nagi with a worried expression before asking an important question that has been plaguing his mind.

“Hey, I have a question,” Reo declared. “I feel like you’ve been a little more distant lately. Is there something going on? Did I do something?” Nagi shook his head and held Reo closer.

“No, I'm just tired, Reo,” Nagi reassured him and continued. “You didn’t do anything.” Reo held in his breath as he nodded.

“I trust you,” Reo said as he exhaled. “Good night.” Reo adjusted himself to Nagi’s weight before giving into comfort.

“Night, Reo,” Nagi whispered, already half asleep. Reo murmured a small “mhm” as a response as they slowly drifted off to sleep together.

“Hey, Nagi, I’m gonna go shopping,” Reo called out from the living room. “Want to come with me?” Nagi emerged from the bedroom and awkwardly stood in the doorway.

“You can go alone,” Nagi nonchalantly replied. Reo’s facial expression turned confused as he stuttered to look for the right words. He walked toward Nagi.

“What? but we always go together!” Reo exclaimed. “Why? What's wrong? I could push you in the cart!”

“I’m tired, Reo,” Nagi scratched the back of his head. He gave Reo an apologetic glance. “I'm sorry, maybe next time.”

“But Nagi,” Reo pointed at the door. “We could ride the swan boat together!” Nagi slowly started to reconsider going with Reo, as he really did want to go in the swan boat. But, changed his mind and wanted to do one more live, and a much more engaging one for more gifts.

“Reooo, I’m so tired.” Nagi whined. “Maybe later.”

“Well…okay if you want to stay…” Reo looked defeated as he walked toward the door and came back with a package. “And here, it’s addressed to you.” He gave Nagi the package, and unlocked the door. “Bye, my treasure, don’t do anything stupid. Text me if you want anything.” he murmured and exited the room. Nagi, holding the box, was confused about what could be inside until he cut it open. A folded inflatable piece of plastic with flowers and bubbles was in the box, and Nagi held it up, confused. After a thorough inspection, he immediately remembered his impulsive decision to buy more flashy items to gain more money. This was one of them. Nagi laid the pool on the floor and found a guide on how to blow it up. He thought about scrapping the inflatable pool idea when he read about manually blowing air into the small plastic compartment, but he thought about Reo, so he went through with another idea that seemed easier. Nagi luckily found an air pumper laying around the house and began to pump air into the pool, even when he did not enjoy the tedious process. After that, he laid in the pool for about an hour before depositing water from the sink to the pool. He carefully placed the pool near the window, and took the tripod out of the closet. He positioned it in front of the pool, and walked over to the kitchen counter to find money he could scatter. After a bit of searching, he found a large amount of bills in a hidden cabinet, and tossed them around carelessly. Maybe I should change into something. Well, are people really into this..? Nagi pondered before ultimately dragging himself to his shared room and opened the closet door. Sorry, Reo.

Reo hummed to himself as he scoured through the aisles of the grocery store. he usually didn’t go out of his way to buy from normal grocery stores, as his shopping was done for him, but wanted an excuse to spend time with Nagi. But now, he used his time to reflect on Nagi’s strange behavior. Questions flooding his mind, Reo turned his cart into the tea aisle. Is he mad at me about the TikTok lives? He should know I'm doing this for his own good. I told him. Reo examined tea packets on the shelves as he was deep in thought, and brought a lemon tea package closer to his face before placing them inside the cart. Reo recalled the strange interaction he had with Nagi yesterday, and how he looked a little worried about the tripod being discovered, and how his voice was slightly higher pitched when he was confronted by Reo himself. Reo placed the lemon tea bag in the cart and shoved it forward. Could he be lying to me? Reo wondered, pushing his cart toward the self-checkout line. No, my treasure would never lie. He hasn’t lied to me…well in a while… He scanned the items and strategized on how to approach the strange conflict. If he really is doing tiktok lives, maybe I should just tell him the truth. He should know, anyway. This is my treasure. Reo walked out of the store and spotted the parked limousine outside, and entered it without a word. On the way home, Reo came to the conclusion that he cannot keep his secret on why he has a hatred for lives away from Nagi any longer. He should be honest to his self proclaimed treasure, and could explain why he had kept this reason hidden for so long. When he finally perfected and polished this plan, he was already through the door to his floor. Reo was graced with a strange scene of Reo laid in swim trunks and a soaked white shirt, and he was sitting in an inflatable pool. Reo spotted money sprawled all over the place, and most importantly, a phone set up on a tripod. the tripod Reo had hidden from the day before. Nagi lifted up a handful of bills and threw them into the air, following a certain bill under which he caught a glimpse of Reo’s bewildered expression.

“Nagi,” Reo dropped his grocery bag in shock. “What are you doing?” His anger was hardly contained. “Is that the tripod…? That's my money?! Nagi, are you flaunting things for money?” Reo recognized the familiar format and grew angrier. “Is this TikTok live? Nagi. What did I tell you?” Nagi was frozen in the pool, eyes scanning Reo’s livid facial expression. Reo glared at Nagi’s phone, still being flooded with gifts. “You got a lion?! Are you making people do this?”

“Reo— I can explain,” Nagi stood up and stepped out of the pool and tried to walk toward Reo, but slipped on the scattered money, and fell on top of him. Reo sat up, shoved his hands on Nagi and pushed him off. Nagi stumbled back onto the floor, worriedly looking at Reo. “Reo…please listen.”

“Nagi. Why would you lie?” Reo shouted, leaning over Reo, gripping his shoulders, and began to tremble. “Didn’t I say this was dangerous?!” Nagi looked for his words in his mind, and once he gathered them all, they all came out in a blur.

“This was for you, Reo,” Nagi confessed, looking in Reo’s eyes. “I just wanted to pay you back, for all you did.” Reo’s grip loosened and had an unreadable expression as his eyes locked with Nagi’s eyes. “You're rich, but I wanted to get you something special. Something you would consider special.”

“Nagi…” Reo’s voice was slightly above a whisper and his hands slumped to Reo’s sides. “I told you it was dangerous. It doesn’t matter if this was for me, put yourself first.”

“But Reo, you have security and stuff,” Nagi pointed out, not attempting to provoke Reo. Even with Nagi’s efforts, Reo’s eyes began to water and tears slipped down his cheeks and sniffled. Nagi, surprised by this reaction, reached over and took Reo’s hand. He didn’t know what to do, but he hoped he could provide comfort.

“Nagi…I got stalked when I did the exact same thing last year. people kept following me and kept sending me just…weird messages,” Reo gripped his hand to wipe the tears from his face. “I didn’t want to worry you, so I never told you.” Nagi’s face contorted into confusion and worry. “Theres a reason why I heightened security. So they couldn’t get to me or you. Fuck, the reason why I bought the swan boat was so no one could recognize me all the time. I didn’t want you to go through this, so I was just so scared when you wanted to do it. For money…I’m Reo Mikage, I was so confused when you wanted to do this for money.”

“Reo, you should have told me. We could have worked this out together. I’m your partner, Reo,” Nagi held Reo’s arms and he looked at Reo’s worried face. “Are they still bothering you now?” Reo sniffled before looking at Reo. “Tell me the truth.”

“No…they went away. I hired someone, and they won’t be bothering me anymore,” Reo confessed and took Nagi’s hands. “Everything's okay now, I'm sorry. I should have told you, you’re my treasure.”

“I’m sorry too, Reo. I didn’t listen,” Nagi pulled Reo closer to him, and Reo nestled himself under Nagi’s head. “and I scattered all your money for more money. I also bought a pool.” Reo pulled himself out of Nagi’s hug and looked around the room. It truly was a mess.

“Uhm, well it’s okay…I’ll clean it,” Reo murmured, looking a little frustrated. “Well, Nagi, did you have any bad people? Tell me, I'll take care of them.” Reo shook his head and leaned forward.

“No one. And, Reo,” Nagi said. His face leaned closer to Reo’s. “What do you want?”

“What?” Reo questioned, wiping his eyes. “Treasure, what do you mean?”

“What do you want me to buy you?” Nagi asked, mentally noting what Reo requested. “I wanted to repay you, remember? I can buy us soccer cleats, or we can bribe coaches.” Reo laughed before contemplating his answer. He confidently thought out his request and looked at Nagi.

“Nagi, do you know what I want?” Reo leaned in and cupped his hand on Nagi’s cheek. “I don’t need anything material.” Reo pulled Nagi in for a kiss, their lips gently touching. Nagi immediately reciprocated by holding both of Reo’s cheeks and leaned in closer. Their conflicted feelings deteriorated away and were replaced with love and reconciliation. Reo let go of the kiss first and looked at Nagi with a tender smile. “You’re all I need. I don't want any soccer cleats or fancy gifts. I have those, but they’re not as special as you. You’re my treasure, Nagi. I love you.” Reo pecked Nagi’s lips again and waited for his reaction. Nagi simply wrapped his arms around Reo, forgetting he was soaked from his previous activity.

“I love you too, Reo,” Nagi warmly replied. Reo laughed once again, and patted Nagi’s head. He planted another kiss on his head, and Nagi melted in Reo’s arms.

“Well, let’s clean up, my treasure,” Reo’s words were directed to the pool right behind Nagi, the water slowly swaying. Nagi silently groaned and let go of Reo.

“Okay, boss,” Nagi turned around and dragged the pool closer to his body for an easier way to pick it up.

“Here, Nagi, I’ll do this. Put away the tripod,” Reo pulled himself up and offered Nagi a hand. Nagi walked over to his phone and was met with many confused and elated comments that flooded through the still-running live. Nagi turned around to face Reo, who was bending down to hoist the pool in his arms.

“Hey, Reo. the live’s still running,” Nagi pointed at the phone. Reo stopped in his tracks and flew his head in Nagi’s direction.

“What,” Reo choked out. He dropped the pool on the ground, his body shaking, and he collapsed on the ground without any warning. Nagi dropped his phone and ran over to his partner.

“Reo!” Nagi frantically shook Reo, but he laid limp on the ground.

Reo woke up in the familiar comfort of his bedroom, with the blanket tucked in, and a pair of eyes looking at him with infatuation and worry. Reo sat up and rubbed his eyes. A striking pain shot through Reo’s head, and he grabbed it, rubbing his forehead with his fingers. He blinked a little before noticing Nagi sitting on the side of the bed, holding Reo’s hand.

“Reo? you’re awake,” Nagi observed. “You fainted after I said the live was still running.” He felt Reo’s forehead, and dropped his hand once he felt a human amount of warmth. “You’re not sick, right?”

“Oh…” Reo lost all strength and fell on the bed with no feeling in his body. “Well, what are people going to think?”

“Reo, it’s fine,” Nagi patted Reo’s head. “I don’t think people actually care.”

“Well Nagi—!” Reo’s explanation was cut off by a loud ringtone, and he diverted his gaze to the vibrating phone on the nightstand. “Just…give me a second.” He grabbed the phone and read the caller id, and he looked confused. "Chigiri's calling.”

“Pick up, pick up,” Nagi persistently pleaded . Reo answered the call with an exhausted “hello?”. Chigiri's voice boomed on the other line.

“Dude, why would you guys do that on live?” Chigiri asked sternly. “Are you guys serious? we were waiting for a proper confession that you two were together, but no. you guys made out on live. No one wants to see that.”

“You were watching?” Reo’s face was drained of color. Chigiri scoffed.

“Everyone was, but calm down. No one’s mad, this was expected anyway,” Chigiri confirmed. “Why live in front of your fans though?”

“I think it was ai,” Reo chimed in confidently. “Me and Nagi just talked, nothing else.

“Bachira literally recorded the whole conversation you two had. be serious,” Chigiri sighed. “It’s fine if you’re gay, jeez.”

“I think it was edited,” Reo lied. “Me and Nagi are just teammates!”

“Don’t believe everything on the internet, princess,” Nagi rubbed his eyes and yawned.

“I think people just want drama. Bachira probably got that from some liar,” Reo leaned back on the bed..

“My ass,” chigiri huffed. Shouting was heard in the background, and the sound of Chigiri’s phone moving increased. “Well I need to go now. bye Reo, bye Nagi. let me know when you’re actually willing to confess." The line went silent, and Reo set the phone on the table before exchanging glances with Nagi before he stood up and started to move next to Reo on the bed. He climbed into the bed and pulled the blanket over him and Reo.

“Let’s just sleep, Reo,” Nagi pulled Reo down onto the mattress and moved his arm on Reo’s chest and moved closer. “Let’s think about this later.”

“…Okay, let’s sleep,” Reo worriedly turned to face Nagi and held him in his arms. “I hope no one’s too mad.” A sound echoed throughout the room and Reo groaned before grabbing his phone that was set on the nightstand once more. “It’s isagi.” He slides the accept button and holds it to his ear. “Hello?”

“I didn’t know you two were gonna let everyone find out through a live!” Isagi cheerfully said. “Congratulations you two!”

“No, Isagi. me and Nagi are friends,” Reo blurted out. “Only friends.”

“Uh-huh. What friend washes their hair for them and carries them around? That’s gay dude.” Isagi commented. “You know, being gay isn’t bad, it’s June anyway..” He added, trying to not sound like he was against the idea of same sex love. Reo huffed before retorting a personal thing back.

“Well…what about you and Rin? You two are pretty gay,” Reo fired back. “Devouring each other for goals? Yoga together? What is that?” The line went dead, and Reo glanced at the dark phone screen and placed it back on the table. “Okay, sorry Nagi. Let’s sleep.” He glanced back at Nagi who was already fast asleep, drool dripping from the corner of his mouth. Reo softly laughed and stroked Nagi’s hair before slipping back into his arms. Nagi’s grip on Reo tightened, and let out soft snores. Reo let himself be taken away by Nagi’s warmth.
