Chapter Text
When it comes to weird encounters in the imagination or the mind palace most of the things that happen are usually accidents, like the time with Janus when every time Thomas or he lied Janus's pants would literally catch on fire. But this new encounter was mainly Remus's fault.
Remus was in his self-described "evil wizard tower", he had mixed something he called "ghost fart grass" along with some herbs and poisons and got a weird gelatinous blob that smelled like soap and cat food which Remus immediately jumped back at because of the soap smell, but when he went to go show the others what he made he tripped and dropped it on the ground between Roman and Virgil's section in the imagination. Virgil and Roman had come to see what had happened, but a puff of green smoke appeared when it dropped and when it fully faded it had seemed that Roman and Virgil had swapped places but when "Roman" asked what had happened they realized that apparently Virgil and Roman had Switched bodies, Yet immediately after they all figured that out Roman Screamed at the top of his lungs because all of a sudden he was now emo.
"Why do you scream that loud?" Virgil said while Remus giggled. "How do you make ME so Loud??" Virgil continued.
"Projection is a talent in an art form for any good actor NOW REMUS WHAT THE FUCK?!" Roman yelled,
"Language!" Patton said after coming to the sound of the scream,
"AAH! WHEN DID PATTON GET HERE?" Roman exclaimed
"We came as when we heard you scream," Logan said. "Now what seems to be the problem, Virgil?"
"I AM NOT THE EMO!" Roman said to Logan.
"Wait... what? I-I'm confused?" Patton said shortly after
"I am Virgil," Virgil said into the palm of his hand. "REMUS had splashed a potion on us two that made us switch bodies." Virgil continued while Remus started cackling.
"Well, what are we gonna do?" Patton stammered.
"There just going to have to do each other's jobs until Remus makes another potion to fix this problem." Logan replied
"Awww, do I have to?" Remus said pouting.
"Yes, you do." Logan said.
"What do I get if I do?" Remus bargained.
Logan paused for a second before responding. " Numbers 3 and 17 on that list you gave me."
"Ooo! Yes sir!" Remus exclaimed before vanishing of to God knows where.
"What's numbers 3 and 17?" Roman asked.
"Oh, you definitely want to know," Janus said sarcastically while shaking his head.
"It can't be that bad if Logan's agreeing to it right...RIGHT??" Patton asked nervously.
Later that day, Virgil tried to make ideas in the imagination but couldn't make anything that didn't include a bad ending. Roman tried to make sure of being careful and warnings but couldn't even think of any bad endings to be aware of, as the day went on they both thought the other's job was harder than they could manage.
They both decided that they would help teach each other how to do the others job in the imagination because they still need their jobs done.
"Wait wait wait," started Roman, "You just think of every way something can just fail?!"
"Yep," replied Virgil.
After almost all day was gone, they had realized they could agree on much more than they thought.
