Impulsive thoughts

Summary:

A very VERY short drabble of Rei and Teto that I made a while back, I just edited it a little :P

Notes:

Yeah don't mind the word count, this was when I was starting out as a writer

Work Text:

Rei sat behind Teto on the bed, watching the chimera's tail swish back and forth. Rei didn't have anything to do and she was intrigued, what if she were to......

YANK

"GAH-!" Teto exclamed.

Rei stared in curiosity as the tail in her hand stood rigid, twitching slightly. Teto whirled around, cradling her tail in her hands as beady tears lined her eyes.

"R-rei, what the hell?"

"Sorry, Rei was just... Curious" the android fidgeted with her hands.

Teto sighed "don't just- don't just pull it like that! You're quite literally pulling on my spine y'know!?" She chastised, an accusatory finger pointed at Rei. Rei slowly blinked in response.

The chimera slowly turned back to her book, tail curled over her lap as to keep it out of Rei's reach.

Rei watched in boredom, she'd usually go out into the neighborhood and walk around, but with storm outside, she was stuck in the house. Sure, she's mostly waterproof, but if she stayed out for too long, water would still seep into her wiring.

An idea formed in Rei's head and she smirked. She reached up to her ponytail to undo the white ribbon keeping the orange locks up. She moved closer to the chimera, tying the ribbon around her tail in a neat bow.

Seeing that Teto hadn't realised, the robot looked around the room, finding more ribbons and string of all sorts to tie around Teto's tail. The chimera, still engrossed in her book, hadn't caught on to Rei's little scheme until the orange haired android sat Infront of her.

Rei hummed to catch Teto's attention and pointed behind her. Feeling suspicious of Rei's untied hair, the redhead looked behind her back and gawked at the amount of ribbons decorating her tail. There were five to six bows, varying in colour from white to bright pink —where that came from was a mystery as they hadn't bought any pink ribbons at all.

Teto turned to see Rei's cat-like smirk plastering her rubber face. She picked up the pillow closest to her and promptly lobbed it at Rei's face. The robot burst out in giggles and Teto couldn't help herself but laugh along as well, only for her to find another pillow had met her face.

"Oh you little–"

"Uh oh"

The book laid forgotten on the bed as the robot and chimera continued throwing pillows at each other, laughter emanating as they declared a pillow war on each other.
