It was a sunny afternoon, Trowel and Sword were out to buy groceries, leaving Battler and Slinger alone in the house.
Slinger was still sleeping peacefully until Battler walked in.
"You need something, Battler?"-Slinger asked
"No, I was just wondering, do you wanna go outside for a walk? Those two aren't coming back anytime soon and you know that."-Battler
"...Sure."-Slinger
Both of them went to their own room to get dressed up. Slinger was wearing his usual sleeveless hoodie, arm warmers, a bag filled with balls, and also a Slingshot attached to his belt, while Battler chose to wear a sweater and gloves.
"You ready?"-Battler asked
"Yeah."-Slinger
Both of them walked out of their apartment, proceeding to take the elevator down to the ground floor. Once they're there, they both quickly got off the elevator and started walking.
"Where do you think we should go?"-Battler asked
Slinger was a little bit surprised, after all Battler was the one who invited him to a walk and he somehow don't know where they should go.
"How about a walk near the park? Then we take a turn towards the cliff, I heard there is a beautiful scenery at dusk."-Slinger replied
"Whatever you say, Sling."-Battler teased
Slinger blushed a little bit before proceeding to look away from Battler's handsome gaze. He wished that he could stay in this universe forever but we all know that isn't possible.
They walked around the city, chatting about their personal life before they met each other, they arrived at the park after 30 minutes.
"Those flowers are pretty."-Slinger
"Those flower look just like you, love."-Battler
"Can you not do that in public? It makes me feel embarrassed."-Slinger
"Chill Sling, there's no one here."-Battler
"But if you insist, I'll stop."-Battler
"..Thanks."-Slinger
Both of them continue their walk, occasionally, they will stop to admire the flowers, or if there's something that fascinated them.
"That flower looks as pretty as you."-Slinger said while pointing to a bed of red tulips (the flower does have a meaning.)
"Aww, thanks Sling."-Battler
"Your welcome Battler."-Slinger
Eventually, they reached another bed of flowers.
"Your eyes, they look as dazzling as those flowers planted."-Battler said while pointing towards a bed of aconites. (it has a meaning also.)
"..Thanks."-Slinger replied shyly.
Both of them kept on walking, eventually, they reached the cliff. During this time, the sun was already starting set, which casted a golden glow on those flowers.
"The sunset is beautiful,..isn't it?"-Battler asked, smiling.
Slinger's expression changed, he knew well enough what that means. But what can he do? Ask his master to revert time?
With a heavy heart he replied:
"It is beautiful."-Slinger
Before Slinger could reply again, Battler pulled Slinger towards him, giving him a kiss right on the lips before quickly pulling away.
"Sorry."-Battler
"I-it's fine."-Slinger
Slinger suddenly thought about something out of the blue, him and Battler aren't that different after all. They were both being controlled by someone, Slinger broke before giving in, Battler made a deal with a demon for power. They were forced into doing stuff they didn't wanted to do.
"Let's go back now shall we? It's getting dark."-Slinger
"Sure."-Battler
And then they went home and got interrogated by their friends yay happy ending
