Sunwoo was working the night shift at the restaurant.she had finished wiping everything down while it was her co-workers turn to do the dishes
"쓰레기를 버리고 있어요"(I'm taking out the trash!)she said as she ties the trash bag.
"괜찮은"(alright)he said not looking up from the dishes.sunwoo opened the back door as she entered the alleyway.it was obviously dark out but for some reason the air feels different like...somethings watching her as she put the trash bag into the bin a sudden meow almost made her scream until she realized it was just fica the resident stray orange cat that happened too live in the alleyway and loved the fish cakes the put in their soups.
"미안해 키티, 오늘은 생선 케이크 없어"(sorry no fish cake today kitty)sunwoo says as she pets fica as suddenly from just down the alley a hail of bullets came down on her as 1 hits her shoulder as she screams and runs behind a trash bin as fica runs away.
Sunwoo breathes heavily as she tries her best to not have a panic attack.
공황발작을 일으키지 마세요.공황발작을 일으키지 마세요!(Don't have a panic attack.dont have a panic attack!)she says as she grabs her shef knife from her apron with shaky hands.
Meanwhile
"Damn this place is beautiful at night" phoenix says admiring the city of Seoul
"Phoenix please focus"control says with a sigh
"Relax fam it's just a-"
BANG
".... ALRIGHT that doesn't sound like just the wind"phoenix says as he looks around trying to find the source of the gunfire.
"Phoenix get out of the area and head to the-"
"Ahhhhhhhhhhhh"
"Sorry fam but I got a damsel in distress to save right now"
"Phoenix I swear-"
Phoenix turns off his earpiece as he heads to the source of the scream as he equips his vandal.
Meanwhile
Sunwoo clutches her kitchen knife for dear life a while blood leaks from her shoulder.as the attacker steps closer and closer until suddenly.
Bang Bang bang!
Even more gunfire can be heard as the attacker stops dead in their tracks as they fire back.
Tears started to drop from sunwoos eyes as she clutches her head.
진정하세요, 제발 진정하세요(stay calm stay calm please)통제력을 잃지 마세요(dont lose control!) sunwoo says as the wind begins to pick up
Meanwhile
"Hey!drop the gun and put your hands in the air!"phoenix commands as he fires some warning shots at the hooded figure with the gun as the figure fires back.
Phoenix takes cover behind a trashbin as he snaps his fingers as a small fireball appears in his hand as he uses his curveball to flash the attacker as he swings out and fires a single shot to the shoulder as the figure falls to the ground dropping their gun.as phoenix was about too approach them as suddenly the wind started too pick up rapidly.
"What the-wheres all this wind coming from?!"
The hooded figure then jumps as they use some wind of their own too updraft to a nearby roof as they make their getaway.
"Hey!stop!"
But then phoenix hears something just down the alleyway as he raises his vandal again as he slowly makes his way to the noise.
Back to sunwoo
진정하세요, 제발 진정하세요(stay calm stay.calm please)sunwoo starts to sob trying to get the wind under control as she suddenly hears a set of footsteps coming towards her.She grabs her knife again as she prepares too-
'hello?anyone there"
Back too phoenix
"Hey is there someone there?"phoenix says as he passes another trashbin as suddenly a girl with white hair lunges at him with a kitchen knife
"Gah!hey eugh!"phoenix gets stabbed as he quickly tries too disarm the panicked girl as he uses another curveball too flash the girl as he kicks the knife out of her hands.
물러서!(Stay back!)the girl yes at him as the winds pick up even more.
"Hey hey look relax I friendly I friendly"phoenix says as he raises his hands as he tries too use some broken English to bridge the clear language barrier.
The winds slowly died down as the girl Infront of him slowly starts to lose her balance as phoenix catches her.
"누구세요?"(Who are you?)the girl questions
"Sorry I don't understand you.i call emergency ok?"phoenix says trying too comfort the girl as he's about to pull out his phone as suddenly
A guy comes out from the backdoor of a restaurant right next too him.
"이게 대체 뭐야?!?"
"Call emergency!call emergency!"phoenix yells while gesturing as the young man immediately dials in the emergency number
Phoenix then turns back too look at the girl who's barely conscious now as he notices the bullet wound as he looks around for something as he just decides too rip some fabric of his own jacket as he tries too cover the wound the best he can.
"Hey it's gonna be alright ok?just stay with me yeah?" Phoenix says comforting the girl as he waits for help too arrive.
A few minutes later
Help finally arrives as they load the girl up as they drive off
Phoenix sighs in relief as he turns his earpiece back on
"Control?pho-"
"PHOENIX WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN THIS WHOLE TIME?!?!"
"YIKES!sorry alright was just handling the sudden gunfire situation yeah.heading to the mission location right now"
Phoenix runs off towards the mission location but he can't help but wonder if he's ever gonna see that girl ever again.
