Chapter Text
Dark sun was still getting used to his new body. He still didn’t know why he was brought back in the first place, all he knew is that he was needed. He was walking when he accidentally bumped into Sun.
”Woah, Dark are you okay?”
”I’m fine. Can I know where we’re going now?” Dark was walking with Sun, Moon, and the new head of sun haven, Sol , who he didn’t feel real okay with.
“Well my dear friend,” Sol jumped in. “We’re going to meet another person on the team of these two.” Sol gestured to Sun and Moon.
“We aren’t really a team we just work together.” Moon said.
”Well can I know who this person is?” The group were already far from the main area of sun haven and were walking down this hallway.
”We are already here, he’s in his office I’ll stay out here while you three talk.” Sol stopped a few inches from the door. When the three walked in Dark immediately saw Eclipse. He was hunched over a computer, his finger tapping repeatedly on the desk. Dark also noticed the slight oil leaking out of his hoodie sleeve.
“Ahem Eclipse?” Eclipse perked up after hearing Moon’s voice. When he turned around the group saw a large scar over his left eye.
“Oh, what happened to your eye Eclipse?” Sun asked.
“Just a machine accident,” Eclipse tapped the side of his face with the scar. “Why are you, three here?” Eclipse paused before saying three since he knew Dark had died, and was probably confused about him being alive.
”Oh right, Dark was brought back because of the situation that’s happening right now.”
“Yeah the situation that I have not been informed about.” Dark was kind of peeved now that he still doesn’t know why he’s here.
”Well Eclipse here knows more about it, for some reason.” Moon told Dark, then he looked to Eclipse. Eclipse sighed.
”Basically there’s this group of extremely powerful and dangerous Moons who are threatening sun haven and they said in a few days they are planning to attack sun haven.” Eclipse looked a bit worried after saying the last part.
”So you need my help for defense or something?” Dark had caught on, Sun and Moon both nodded and looked back at Eclipse like there was more to it. Eclipse sighed heavier.
”And one of the Moons has been killed and the Moons thought that it was a Sun so they moved the attack date. We originally had a month now there’s 6 days.” Dark noticed Eclipse had said we instead of the haven.
”And why are you helping? I thought you didn’t like Suns?” Eclipse looked to the side after Dark questioned him about it.
”You see he made a deal with Sol that if he works here then his kids can get an education here.” Moon informed Dark. Dark looked back at Eclipse and noticed his face looked a little more worried than normal and his finger was tapping against the desk again.
“So you only care because you don’t want your kids killed?” Dark said bluntly. Eclipse’s finger was tapping at a rapid pace after Dark said that. His breathing also started to increase. Then a warning sounded from his systems, he quickly turned it off.
”What was that?” Moon asked. Eclipse looked terrified which made Dark confused.
”It was nothing I’m just going to go do something.” Eclipse quickly ran out of his office. He bumped into Sol, but just continued running. The group came out of his office and went up to Sol.
”What just happened?” Sol asked the group.
“We were just telling Dark about the Moon situation when some sort of warning system went off on Eclipse and he ran out of the room.” Sun answered. Sol just hummed in acknowledgment and nodded.
“He’s probably just low on battery or something.”
“I’d say it was or something, that didn’t sound like the normal low battery warning and it wasn’t internal it was external.” Moon said. He seemed a bit concerned.
”He’s probably fine, anyway Dark what do you… where’d he go?” Sol was going to ask Dark what he thought they should do but he noticed that Dark was gone. No one noticed he’d ran off and no one knew where he went.
“I think I saw him go this way.” Dark whispered to himself as he turned the corner. He was following Eclipse. The warning alert sounded familiar, but he wanted to make sure it was what he thought it was. Before he could turn another corner he heard a loud roar of some kind.
“I knew it.” He whispered to himself again as he quickened his walking pace. As he was running he noticed oil splatters as he got closer to where the roar came from. When he got to a door he paused. He wasn’t sure if it was safe to go in. He hesitated a bit but he took a deep breath in and out and opened the door.
“Oh god.”
