Work Text:
The two doctors were sat on the couch of the older man’s apartment with Chinese takeout in their laps—as per usual. Between the two of them was a comfortable silence as well as exchanged longing glances. The longing glances have been shared between them for two years now but they only got together a year ago. Today was their one year anniversary and they still haven’t told anyone about their relationship, not Cuddy, not HR.
As both doctors continue to eat Wilson feels like something is off with House. He’s acting timid, which is very off brand for him and Wilson knows this. So the oncologist starts to internally panic and stops eating his food. The diagnostician ever so observent notices but doesn’t say anything not knowing why his boyfriend stopped eating.
Eventually Wilson gets the courage to ask why House is acting off.
“Greg?”
When House hears his first name being used, he knows something is serious, and he knows that in this moment it’s because Wilson caught him being self conscious. And now it makes sense to House why Wilson stopped eating just a minute ago. When House doesn’t reply Wilson continues to talk.
“What’s wrong?”
House shuts down, he doesn’t reply once again, not even with his usual snarky response. Now Wilson is very worried.
“Greg, please talk to me.”
“𝓈𝒽𝑜𝓌 𝓂𝑒 𝓎𝑜𝓊𝓇 𝒷𝓇𝑜𝓀𝑒𝓃 𝒽𝑒𝒶𝓇𝓉 𝒶𝓃𝒹 𝒶𝓁𝓁 𝓎𝑜𝓊𝓇 𝓈𝒸𝒶𝓇𝓈”
Uncannily House decides to respond to Wilson because he knows otherwise Wilson will end up spiraling.
“Why do you love me? I try so hard to make everyone hate me but here you are.”
Wilson smiles softly, “That’s because even if you try to make others hate you it doesn’t mean they will. You think I didn’t know that your attitude towards everyone was a way to push people away?”
House doesn’t say anything and just looks at Wilson with eyes that show wounded pride.
“You try to push everyone away to get the familiar feeling of someone being disappointed in you. Even though you hated how your father would always be disappointed in you, you became used to it, so now you try to make others disappointed as well to get a sense of something familiar. I see the real you, even if you wish I didn’t, and that’s why I love you. I love you so much Greg.”
“ℐ’𝓁𝓁 𝓉𝒶𝓀𝑒 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝒶𝓈 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝒶𝓇𝑒”
At that House’s eyes start to water but he doesn’t let them out, he hates crying in front of people, even if it’s Wilson. So instead of communicating he uses actions (it’s House what did you expect), he kisses Wilson passionately showing his appreciation for the words that were uttered by the younger man. The younger man chuckles lightly before kissing back.
House pulls away and says the three rare words, “I love you.”
And Wilson being himself feels that declaration vibrate in his chest. It’s every blue moon that Wilson hears those three words being directed to him. It’s him who is always saying ‘I Love You’ and not only with House, it has happened with his ex wife, and multiple ex girlfriends. So it’s no shocker that Wilson shuts down and the moment after he regains his composure that he feels turned on.
So completely forgetting about the food in his lap he kisses the older man hard. This action catches the diagnostician off guard which leads to both Chinese takeout boxes toppling to the ground—thankfully most of the food was already eaten so not too much was wasted.
Both men do not tear their attention away from each other even though their food just plummeted to the ground. House, after finally composing himself, kisses Wilson back—who has been on top ever since House lost his composure.
They continue to kiss each other fiercely. The younger man who is on top has his hand near the older man’s head while the other hand plays with his partner’s short grey hair. The older man, on the other hand, has one of his hands on the back of the younger man’s neck, and the other hand snaked in his partner’s fluffy brown hair.
The diagnostician then pries the oncologist’s lips apart and slips in his tongue. The brown eyed man moans at the action and takes his hand from the blue eyed man’s hair and slides it down to grip the older man’s hip. House’s pupils dilate and he slides his hand from the back of Wilson’s neck to the front to fiddle with his tie. As much as House makes fun of Wilson for his tie he can’t deny that the tie is a good addition in makeouts. He starts to pull at the tie as the couple continues to kiss which results in another moan from the younger man.
Wilson pulls away ever so slightly to catch his breath, his forehead leaning on House’s. After catching his breath, Wilson moves his head down and starts to kiss House’s jaw before sliding down to kiss and suck at his neck. House’s head lolls back against the couch in pleasure as he continues to tug at his partner’s tie as if it were a leash. The tug of the tie is slightly painful but more pleasurable if anything so there is no doubt that Wilson was having the time of his life.
And to reciprocate, as Wilson is kissing at House’s neck he slides his hand up from the older man’s hip to his collar and tugs at it. Wilson does this simultaneously, tugging the collar and sucking at the pulse point of the neck.
Both men feel their self control slipping by the second which leads to them grinding on each other.
At the start of the action, Wilson abruptly halts and asks, “bedroom?”
To which House nods enthusiastically with his infamous smirk plastered on his face.
“𝓌𝑒 𝒸𝒶𝓃 𝓈𝑒𝓍 𝒶𝓁𝓁 𝓃𝒾𝑔𝒽𝓉”
