Severus and Selest are in training room one, preparing the space for a mock mission, using Selest's mental defenses as a guide. However, as Selest surveys the room, she becomes frustrated because Severus is not arranging the items correctly.
"You are doing it incorrectly," Selest snaps.
"NO, I am not, you dunderhead!" Severus retorts.
"Do not refer to me as a dunderhead. Remember who you are addressing. You must ensure that the pressure plates are not positioned next to one another, allowing individuals to traverse the area. The objective is to reach the other side without stepping on a pressure plate and triggering it," she explains.
"I am merely replicating what I observed in your mind," he defends himself.
"And I have stated that you are indeed doing it wrong, you imbecile!" she exclaims.
In an instant, an argument erupts, and moments later, they begin casting hexes at one another. However, their conflict is short-lived as Major Hunt happens to be passing by and hears the commotion
"What in Merlin's name is happening in here? Expelliarmus!" he exclaims, disarming both individuals.
"Major Hunt, Sir, we were merely having a disagreement regarding the arrangement of the room," one of them responds.
"A disagreement so loud that I could hear you from down the corridor? I think not. Both of you are to report to Major Witlock. I will join him shortly to explain your actions," he replies sternly.
Selest lowers her gaze, fully aware that she is not only facing repercussions from her commanding officers but also from her dominant. She thinks to herself, 'I really messed up this time,' and proceeds to Major Witlock's office. However, upon her arrival, she overhears her father's voice and thinks, 'Great, now I'm really in trouble.
Upon arriving at the office, Selest enters when invited, with Severus closely following her. As she steps inside, she keeps her eyes cast down and stands at attention. "We were instructed to report to you, Major Witlock, by Major Hunt after he caught us casting hexes at one another." Jasper glances up, then turns to Voldemort with a sigh.
"Brigadier, could you please extract the memory from one of them so that I may review it? I have no desire to hear them argue."
After both the Brigadier and Major examine the memory, they are visibly enraged. However, Jasper requests Voldemort to allow him to handle the situation as he is still in recovery.
"I have reviewed the memories of the incident, and both of you are at fault. You must not cast hexes at one another. Selest, you bear greater responsibility as a commanding officer. For your unbecoming conduct as a leader in this army, you are hereby demoted to sergeant for a period of two weeks. We will discuss this matter further once Severus has departed. Sergeant Severus Riddle, for your unbecoming behaviour as a sergeant in this army, you are also demoted to private. The reason for your double demotion is that you are older, have been a member of our ranks longer, and should know better. You will serve two weeks as a private, after which you will be promoted to corporal. Draco will now assume the role of sergeant for your team, and you will not have a corporal for the next two weeks in Bravo team. You must work your way back up to staff sergeant. You are dismissed, Severus. Selest, please remain."
After Severus departs, Voldemort rises to leave. As he passes Selest, he mutters the pain curse while directing his wand at her, sustaining it for two minutes to express his displeasure with her conduct, yet he remains silent as he exits the office.
"Kneel, Position two," commands Jasper in a commanding tone.
Selest immediately drops to her knees, adopting the punishment position, which involves kneeling with her hands interlaced on her head and her gaze lowered.
"Your behaviour is entirely unacceptable; you have brought disgrace upon yourself and upon me. As your dominant, your actions reflect on me, and I will not tolerate you bringing me into disrepute. Is that understood?"
"Yes, Master."
"You will proceed to the playroom and await my arrival. You can anticipate a significant punishment for not only bringing shame upon yourself but also affecting other members of this army, not to mention me. Now, GO!" orders Jasper
After taking thirty minutes to calm himself, Jasper enters the playroom and observes his submissive positioned for punishment. He feels satisfied and begins to gather the necessary items for the punishment, as well as the aftercare tools, knowing she will require them post-punishment.
"Go to the spanking bench, submissive," he commands.
Selest rises and approaches the spanking bench, positioning herself without any hesitation, fully aware that she has indeed earned this punishment. Once she is secured in position, Jasper ties her down and inquires if the restraints are too tight. When she assures him she is fine, he begins to explain the punishment.
"This will be a severe punishment: 50 strokes with the paddle, 50 with the strap, and 50 with the cane. You will have ginger inserted while I cane you, but afterward, you will be forgiven, and I will provide aftercare. Are you ready?"
Yes, master."
With that, Jasper commences the punishment, starting with the paddle. He reaches 25 strokes when he notices Selest's breathing has become rapid, prompting him to pause. "Submissive, what is your color?" he asks, checking in on her well-being.
"Yellow, master."
"What seems to be the issue?"
"I did not anticipate such intensity so quickly. Could you please adjust the strength? If it continues like this, I may not endure the punishment. Can you ease into the current strength, please, master?"
"Alright, well done for being honest. I will adjust the strength and ease into it, but you do understand that the intensity I was using will be applied to the last 25 strokes of your caning if I ease into it now?"
"Yes, master, that is acceptable. I am green now, master."
Once he is assured she is ready to proceed, he delivers the next 25 strokes at a medium strength, allowing her a brief respite before administering 50 strokes with the strap. After another break, he prepares the ginger root, approaches her, spreads her cheeks, and inserts the ginger root into her
The ginger root is now in place. I will administer 25 strokes at medium strength, followed by another 25 at full strength. You will count the first 25 strokes, and for the last 25, you have the option to either count them while I go slowly, or I can proceed quickly without requiring you to count.
"Please do the last 25 quickly, Master."
"Alright, prepare yourself. I will begin now; remember to count." He taps the cane against her bottom to ensure he is accurately positioned before lifting it and bringing it down.

This pattern continues until she reaches 25 strokes. She then takes a deep breath, slowly exhales, and braces herself for the final 25 strokes. Jasper observes this and swiftly delivers the last 25 strokes at an accelerated pace before discarding the cane on the floor and removing the ginger root. He then heads to the bathroom to run a bath, after which he lifts Selest and carries her into the bath. Once he has finished, he takes her to the bedroom, holds her close, and assists her in drinking some water. He assures her that he will partially heal her backside in the morning and whispers words of praise for how well she endured her punishment.
