*SLAM!*
Fanny slams open the door to the dorm with her face burning red with rage
“UGH, I HATE SCHOOL!!” she shouted, her voice louder than usual, she stormed through the living room and entered her room in a fit of rage.
Fanny grabbed a random pillow roughly with her ‘hands’ and SLAMMED it into her face, as she screamed her heart out into it—then toppled onto her bed with a loud creak.
Meanwhile, Tree, Marker, and Black hole, who were the only ones in the dorm right now besides Fanny, were quietly hovering at the doorway with a concerned look on their faces.
They had never seen fanny get frustrated about something unless it was serious.
“...Should we go in?” Tree whispers quietly, turning his head around to his accomplices for answers. Marker just shrugged,
“I don’t know, She never acted this mad before..” Marker whispers back, despite his ongoing cheerfulness and silly personality, he was oddly quiet for once, as if he was unsure of what to do in situations like this.
Meanwhile, Black hole gaze lingered on Fanny for a moment, before finally looking back and sighing.
“Just… give her a minute to cool down, then we’ll talk to her.” Black hole responded, then very quietly used his sleeves to guide marker and tree away from the doorway, tree glanced one more time, worry still clawing away through his chest.
But he knew to let it be for now, because when fanny was like this? He might get one of his arms broken on that same day.
After a few minutes of planning, they finally come back to where they started.
Meanwhile Fanny had calmed down, and was now sitting on her bed, she held her knees tightly to her chest, glaring at her headboard like it personally offended her.
Tree walked in first, his footsteps echoing through the room as he walked. Tree sat down right on the edge of the bed, but still close enough for Fanny could still notice him,
Meanwhile, Marker and Black hole were still at the doorway. They were both just as worried as tree, but they decided to let him go first since he had more experience with fanny.
“Hey, Fanny… you okay? That was a pretty big outburst you had there…” Tree started carefully, keeping his voice low and calm as if trying to approach a frightened animal.
Fanny just shifted in response, tucking her knees even closer into her chest. She glances at Tree, and the doorway for a long moment, before turning her gaze back towards the wall.
“It’s match, ever since the new semester started—she’s just been acting like she can boss everyone around since pencil ‘transferred’, and judges people when they mess up on things that they don’t know, and SHE DOESN’T EITHER!!”
Fanny exclaims, flaying her sleeves in the air for emphasis, she lets them fall back to side with a sad plop. And crosses her arms and huffs.
“...And I can’t do anything about it because we're in different classes, and NOBODY is standing up to her. How can a person be so rude and so ignorant at the same time!?...”
As Fanny continues to talk, Tree continues to listen to Fanny's rant, his expression softening as he takes in every word.
“...Well, even if you can't be there in the moment, the fact that you want to stand up for others is a really good quality, and I fully support you, Fanny. But sometimes, you just have to sit down and let karma take a win, but it’s not your fault of how match acts eithe—”
“FANNY ARE YOU OKAY!?”
Suddenly, the door to the room SLAMS open as marker steps in with a panicked expression. Black hole hovers in after him with his sleeve over his ‘face’ and sighs.
“...I tried to stop him.” Blackhole disappointingly claims while shaking his head, slowly dragging the desperate guy in the room out of it while he fights against his gravity
“WAIT WAIT–BLACK HOLE!! WE CAN’T JUST LEAVE FANNY ALONE!!” Marker whines, desperately trying to fight against the force of nature with sheer will power alone. But despite all of his efforts, he still ends up out the door until–
“...You can stay.” Fanny’s voice was unusually quiet, as if it was almost too quiet to hear.
Tree, Black hole, and Marker all went silent and blinked in surprise at Fanny's response, never once had they heard fanny actually allow someone’s presence when she’s upset.
So very slowly, black hole releases his small gravitational pull against marker. And they both made their way towards the bed, and sat besides tree and fanny.
Fanny leaned in towards them slightly, while continuing to rant about her day while her partners listened with silent reassurance.
