The most interesting thing about Leo had to be his eyes. In Jason's opinion.
His eyes were kinda like Piper's, in a way. Leo's eyes were always different when Jason would look at them. Maybe it was because of how the light reflected off them or something.
When it was dark out, or there was no light, Leo's eyes looked pitch black, like they were endless black holes out in space. But when they were in the Argo ll, with the more artificial lights, his eyes were more of a chocolate brown, with deep, rich, and sometimes sweet looking colors.
But nothing could beat the way they looked when he conjured fire, heck even when he was near fire. His eyes would shift, and change from Amber's to reds and sometimes it felt like Jason was looking at a completely different fire altogether.
Leo's eyes also changed depending on how he was feeling. Jason knew that leo was upbeat most of the time, but sometimes, his eyes would betray him. Like when he would try to lighten the mood after some bad news, he would always Crack a joke, or say something stupid, but he always had a bit of worry, or sadness in his eyes.
Sometimes when he was mad it happened too. When he and Annabeth were working on the Argo ll, they got into a few arguments about the planning and time, afterward Leo would always walk it off and say he's fine, but Jason could see there were still hints of anger in his eyes.
Eyes were the windows to the soul, he supposes.
The most interesting this about Leo Valdez was definitely his eyes.
