Chapter Text
The “Roosters” refers to the Crown Army's ceremonial guards. They are vigilant, colorfully dressed enforcers who stand guard over key strongholds and resemble their brigade's princeling, Halting. They operate as elite protectors who maintain strict order, and their personalities mirror their design; unlike the gritty, drab uniforms of regular infantry, they are remarkably colorful and stand out in the Crown Army. They are expected to follow orders from higher-ups without question and obey the rules silently. But are they? What if they speak without anybody knowing? What if they just need a little nod here and there to have a full conversation?
Rooster 1 stands on the left side outside of the Nurse’s Office, and Rooster 2 stands on the right side outside of the Nurse’s Office. Standing at attention and forever stuck in formation. They watched, observed, and remembered each face that passed by or got inside. They didn’t comment or say anything about the frequent visits of a peculiar soldier or a Lieutenant with a shark head that had been visiting more and more
Rooster 1 glanced toward the upcoming figures from the long corridor. Oh, it’s him again. Rooster 2, notice the striking white hair that makes the soldier who has it stand out like a sore thumb. The Nurse’s voice could be heard echoing in the hallways as she led this ‘Mophead’ soldier toward the office. The Roosters immediately fix their posture as the Nurse and Mophead get inside, seeming to talk about how he got part of his memories.
The doors soon close
Rooster 1 just needed to turn his head toward Rooster 2 and begin to ‘speak’ in silence, and only both of them could understand:
Rooster 1: -.. --- / -.-- --- ..- / - .... .. -. -.- / .... . / .-- .. .-.. .-.. / . ...- . .-. / ..-. ..- .-.. .-.. -.-- / .-. . --. .- .. -. / .... .. ... / -- . -- --- .-. -.-- ..--.. (Do you think he will ever fully regain his memory)
Rooster 2: .-- .. - .... / .... --- .-- / .... . / -.- . . .--. ... / -.-. --- -- .. -. --. / -... .- -.-. -.- / .... . .-. . ..--.. / -. --- .-.-.- (With how he keeps coming back here? No.)

It's one of the consequences.)

Rooster 2: -.-- . .- .... .-.-.- .-.-.- .-.-.- (Yeah...)
They both stayed silent and looked straight ahead somewhere in the corridor. The clock ticking continues, a second, another second, then another. As Rooster 1 looked at Rooster 2 again, he started another conversation:
Rooster 1: .... --- .-- / .. ... / -.-- --- ..- .-. / ..-. .- -- .. .-.. -.-- ..--.. (How is your family?)
Rooster 2: --. --- --- -.. --..-- / .. / ... ..- .--. .--. --- ... . .-.-.- / - .... . / .-.. .- ... - / .-.. . - - . .-. / .. / .-. . -.-. . .. ...- . -.. / .-- .- ... .-.-.- .-.-.- .-.-.- / ----. / -- --- -. - .... ... / .- --. --- .-.-.- (Good, I suppose. Rooster 2: .... --- .-- / .- -... --- ..- - / - .... . / -. ..- .-. ... . ..--.. (How about the Nurse?)
Rooster 1: . .... .-.-.- .-.-.- .-.-.- (Eh…)

Rooster 1: -.-- . .- .... --..-- / -.-- --- ..- / ..-. .. -. .- .-.. .-.. -.-- / ... . . / .. - / -- -.-- / .-- .- -.-- -.-.-- (Yeah, you finally see it my way!)
The Doors of the office open, and both Roosters look straight. They watch as Mophead walks away, and the doors close again. His hair swayed as his boots echoed on the floor. Rooster 2 looks at Rooster 1 as his ‘smile’ seems just tighter.
Rooster 2: -.-- . .- .... .-.-.- .-.-.- .-.-.- / .. / ... . . / .. - / -. --- .-- .-.-.- (Yeah… I see it now.)
Rooster 1: -.-- . .- .... .-.-.- .-.-.- .-.-.- (Yeah...)
Mophead stops for a few seconds, glancing back at the guards toward the office, more specifically the Nurse’s office, before he ultimately looks away and walks off. Not knowing the Roosters are talking about Mophead.
