It had been a long day. Not a challenging or even difficult day. In fact it was quite easy, so easy it faded into dullness. It left Tecchou feeling hungry, craving the feeling of adversity or the purposefulness of protecting civilians and dealing out justice to the worst of worse so they could pay for their crimes. That was the reason she became a hunting dog in the first place, not to fill out paperwork or do risk assessments.
No. She couldn’t think like that.
If risk assessments weren’t filed it could mean recklessly jumping head first into danger and possibly death. So no more good deeds could be rewarded or bad deeds punished. It’s not exactly justice but it’s a step closer to a fair and equal world. She must always remember that even if it was tedious.
With a sigh she kicked off the knee high boots and draped the red cape on the coat hanger, it was so large it practically hid all else underneath. Her honeyed eyes took in the scene before her or lack there of, the heater was off ,not ideal in the freezing winters that passed by Yokohama every year, letting a chill seep into her bones. You’re not there ? How odd. Usually you’d already be wrapped in her arms by now, maybe cooking dinner but there was no aroma of anykind. The hunting dog cautiously made her way to your shared bedroom, tanned fingers slowly curling around the hilt of the blade that lazily bounced off her hip. With a gentle push the door creaked open and out came can ailing whine. That was all it took for the sabre to slice through the air in a perfect ark ready to come down and strike whomever dared to attack you ! With swift precision the strike was guaranteed to gash it’s opponent except …
Tecchous grip faltered at the sight of two big eyes peaking out from the blanket of darkness, as if two wintry moons beaming up that wrought out all her fantasies. A certain peculiarity sparkled through that wasn’t there when she left this morning. With a flick of the lights suddenly the sound of sniffling became much clearer. You were … crying ? Well that’s what it sounded like at least ? Like a good solider she investigated by removing the cove of warmth you’d created via one of her old ragid quilts she refused to throw away but under her calloused fingers were damp splotches. For certain you were crying,
“Angel what’s wrong ?”
“Cramps and they really hurt Hiro”
She could only wince that. Tecchou hadn’t gotten a period in 6 years and honestly she forgot what they felt like. The gifted doctors opted to remove their uterus’s on account of having super soldiers out of action for a week wasn’t optimal in case of an emergency. But having to see you like this every month and carry on as normal ? Maybe she’d ask the doctors if there was something to be done about this. Surely they could. However now is not the time for that, you need help. That’s what’s important.
“What do you need of me ?” The tone was so serious it could’ve easily been mistaken for a warrior pleading their service to a general. And maybe in a sense it was. Maybe Tecchou did consider herself a warrior in every facet of life not just her profession. From the day she’d met you she vowed to be the protector of your heart and destroyer of your hardships, to keep you safe by any means necessary whether blade, hand or mind and she wasn’t going to stop here. You were crying after all something that should never happen, not with her around.
“Can you just lay down with me ?” You pleased with a jutted lip for the extra layer of poutyness that wasn’t really needed since she was already ripping her shirt and trousers off to crawl underneath you. The low cut vest let you lodge your face completely in her breasts, her toned arm wrapped itself around your waist to give a soft squeeze while her other hand tenderly ran through your hair. Her fingers combing through the knots that you’d seemed to neglect. For someone so athletic and always ready to fight she was surprisingly cuddly.
Nuzzling into her further you couldn’t help but muse “Mmmm you’re like a teddy bear but better cause you have tits” as you tried to forget the pain by respecting deeper into her embrace. Redness coated the ends of her ears and cheeks while your ears picked up the small almost imperceptible gasp, she was flustered how cute, but her demeanour never wavered
“It’ll be alright angel I swear” she sealed this promise with a kiss on your forehead that lit up your insides, if she was anymore adorable your heart may have given out. The old quilt cam to cocoon the two of you even closer together making your eyes droop close and lashes flutter against her fleshy bed
