Tsukasa looked up, the people instantly filled with tears and happiness in the audience, tsukasa felt joyous when he saw this, the adrenaline slowed down.
The foursome bowed and walked backstage, but once tsukasa stepped backstage, his body gave up on him and collapsed.
“Tsukasa-kun!!”
Emu shouted in worry, the other two both looked anxious.
“Get some rest tsukasa, you deserve it.”
Stated nene, it was really obvious that tsukasa went beyond his limit, with him having been huffing and sweating.
“Really im fine just a little worn out!”
Tsukasa panted, then put on a crooked grin. They weren’t convinced, tsukasa tried to get on his knees but his body didnt want to listen to him.
“Hah.. can you guys.. help me?..”
he begrudgingly asked, Rui had put his left arm under tsukasas, emu did the same thing but on the opposite side, and they gently crouched up.
“You should really be more careful.”
Mumbled the diva. Rui and Emu nodded in agreement.
“I think i can stand myself.”
Tsukasa slipped his arms back to his side and sluggishly stood.
“Ha ha ha!! That was amazing! Did you see everyone smiling?!”
Tsukasa exclaimed, the rest of them wore frowns, Tsukasas smile had also turned into a frown.
“Whats wrong?..”
“Lets take you home tsukasa-kun, i dont its the smartest idea to let you go by urself.”
Rui answered as emu giggled.
“Lets all have a sleepover at tsukasas home!” She beamed.
“Maybe tsukasa should rest instead.”
Nene chuckled.
“Great idea Emu, call Tenma-san.”
“Righty-o rui-kun!!”
Emu quickly dialed saki’s phone number, after a few seconds she picked up.
“Yes emu-chan?”
“You dont mind us coming over to have a sleepover with your brother do you? If you dont then we’re coming over!”
“Onii-san is okay?! Are you there!?”
The camera showed a worried expression of saki
“Yes im here, and im fine.”
Tsukasa replied
“ONII-CHANN!”
Saki started sobbing, her words were filtered from tears.
“S-saki?!!”
Tsukasas heart raced, why was she crying? Did i do something wrong?? The star thought. Once her crying came to a stop she whimpered
“a-are you okay??”
“What?! Of course im fine stop worrying”
Tears started to appear again.
“W-wait Saki what did i do wrong???!”
Tsukasa stammered. Saki hiccuped, then explained
“you told me to stop talking to you out of nowhere until the end of the performance!”
“I said that??”
Tsukasa whispered, quiet enough for saki not to hear, but made the people around him get more concerned.
“Im sorry Saki”
he replied sincerely.
“Yeah come over have a sleepover okassan and dad wont mind.”
She wiped the tears off her face.
“I missed you onii-chan.”
She beamed, it made tsukasas heart warm. “Same.”
“Get home soon!”
the call ended,
“Lets go!!”
Emu screamed, tsukasas ears were slightly ringing.
On the ride to tsukasas home, it was keisuke who drove them, one by one, to each house they collected their stuff for the sleepover, once the got to the front door tsukasa couldnt even touch the door because saki opened it too fast,
“ONII-SAN!”
She hugged him tightly
“Hey guys! Come in, okaasan has almost finished making dinner.”
One by one they went in the house, just leaving the two siblings together huggings,
“S-saki youre holding me too tight!!”
Tsukasa could barely speak.
She sniffled
“i-i just missed you so much!”
He patted her back,
“Lets go inside.”
He suggested, and the door closed once they came in the house,
“Tsukasa-kunn!”
Emu boomed from above, in tsukasas room,
“we’ve already put our bags in your bedroom!”
“Looks like we have guests over for the night.”
Tsukasas mother appeared, maybe she was always there but tsukasa didnt remember,
“Okaasan! What have you made?”
He questioned
“Curry rice.”
“Delicious!”
The star exclaimed, he took of his shoes and neatly put them on the shoe rack, while his troupes’ shoes were put near the side
“Welcome home tsukasa.”
She embraced tsukasa.
“Thanks, okaasan.”
He muttered, it felt weird to see his mother be so warm towards him, half of his childhood, he doesnt remember a single time where she smiled, tsukasa only remembers her with an anxious expression.
“Your father will be working late so he wont have dinner with us”.
She told the siblings,
“Okay okaasan!”
Saki said joyfully, around the table were 6 empty plates positioned precisely on the table matts, they all sat together eating their rice curry.
“Thank you for the food!”
They all spoke in unison and munched on the food.
After finishing their meals the troupe went to tsukasas room and changed for the night, just leaving tsukasa with his casual clothes still on,
“Wait i forgot my phone from downstairs-“
tsukasa was interrupted by a certain director
“Tsukasa-kun? Stay up here, ill go get your phone.”
“Okay..”
weird, tsukasa thought, why didnt he want tsukasa going into his living room, tsukasa turned around and-
“Pillow fighttt!”
A pillow was thrown at tsukasas face
“Agh emu!!”
He then threw the pillow back at emu and so for a while they started throwing pillows at each other, in the middle of the situation rui came back up with tsukasa’s phone but he didnt notice as for the fact he had a battle to win, nene and rui sat on tsukasas bed, ever so slightly, tsukasas mind went somewhere else, he was still throwing pillows at emu, but they were less accurate,
“Tsukasa?..”
emus voice was quiet,
“Yeah?”
“Are you alright?”
Tsukasa didnt expect that, of course hes fine, hes with his friends having a sleepover!
“Of course im alright!”
“Tsukasa i think its time you change into your pyjamas.”
Nene interrupted,
“Wait- i dont have them on!! I didnt even notice!”
Ruis smirk had turned into a frown,
“Tsukasa-kun, are you sure youre ‘alright’? You can tell us if anything is bothering-“
“Im fine.”
Tsukasa snapped, the room fell silent, he quickly picked up his pyjamas and went into the bathroom, he didnt even notice he was holding his breath until a heavy sigh came from his mouth, he heard mumbling from the other side of the door, sorrow began to fill his heart,
“Oh no, what did i do.. i have to apologise,”
he turned back to face his door and opened it,
“Rui im sorry.”
The 3 of them were on his bed in a huddle,
“Tsukasa-kun?”
The force of nature had a deep frown plastered on her face, infact, tsukasa noticed that all his friends all looked gloomy,
“W-whats wrong?..”
his legs were wobbling, what has he done wrong again?!
“Tsukasa!”
Nene blurted,
“we’re worried about you! We still are, you’re acting off.”
“I am?”
Tears started streaming down emus face,
“Tsukasa..”
When he saw emu cry his legs suddenly gave way and dropped onto the floor.,
“W-what?..”
tsukasa was confused, what was happening to him??
“tsukasa!”
They all approached to tsukasa, why werent his legs working?! Tears of frustration fell down the stars face, he immediately covered his face with his sleeves.
“Tsukasa..”
rui uttered.
“S-stop looking!”
He cried,
“im fine i promise,”
Emu first hugged him tight at his waist,
“Tsukasa, its okay to cry sometimes,”
she sniffed
“I-“
he gulped,
Nene came in second, her arms wrapped around his shoulders firmly,
“Was it scary?.. having to imagine all of that?..”
she whispered, he couldnt help it! Tsukasa weeped, he didnt want anyone seeing him like this. The awful things he had to imagine doing to his family. Finally rui came from behind and slid his arms around his neck,
“We’re all scared for you, please, just rest for the night, stop being so tense and let us reach you.”
“S-stop..”
tsukasa had bawled his eyes out by now, he doesnt remember if he had ever cried this hard in his entire life, maybe all of the tears he had kept inside of him decided to escape now, it felt so refreshing to just.. sob, tsukasa felt the tears of his friends bleeding through his clothes.
Half an hour of crying and tsukasa felt light, very light, as a feather, he hiccuped, tsukasa felt his consciousness fading,
“Thank you.,”
was the last words he said before seeing the dark, but instead of the dark being cold, it felt comforting, with his friends holding him.
