Yelling. Screaming. He had enough all of it. He just want to die. Why is he being born on the first place tho? He always thought of that.
“ You’re not worth here, you disrespectful, selfish, ignorant child. ”
“ Just die already you cursed child. ”
“Heh.” Ichimatsu smirked when he remembered what his parents said. “A cursed child huh..” He hide his face more to his knee, leaving the reality to his own world at the corner of the room.
Then, he felt something warm and bright all over his skin. He looked up, and gasped. “What the—”
He squints.
After the light got calmed down abit, Ichimatsu slowly opened his eyes, and he saw a boy appeared in front of him. And wait. Hold on. Is that wings behind his back?
“Wh-what— who are you?”
“I’m Jyushimatsu!” The boy who called himself ‘Jyushimatsu’ nodded excitedly.
“A-ah, okay—” Ichimatsu peeked at his wings, and cleared his throat. “I mean.. what are you?”
The boy gasped. “Oh! How rude of me! As you can see, I’m an angel! You can tell by this wings right?” He wiggled his wings.
“An.. Angel?”
“Yes! An angel!”
“But..why?”
“Why??” He tilt his head.
“I mean, why are you here? Shouldn’t you go serve god or somethin’?”
“I am! I am! I was just looking around, doing my job and such. But then, i saw you! You looked really upset, is there something wrong?” The angel tilt his head again.
He blinked when the angel asked him is he’s really okay. “It’s none of your business.”
“Oh..” The angel give him a worry look. “Okay, if you say so..”
He’s kinda feeling a little guilty when the angel gave him that look. He sighed. “It’s family stuff..”
The angel blinked and snap his fingers. “Okay! Wait here for a sec!” The angel runs to the window, and flew away.
He immediately came back to Ichimatsu’s window with..a cat? Is that cat on his arm? The angel brought the cat with him, and he gave Ichimatsu a big smile. “I heard you really like cats!”
Ichimatsu immediately held the cat and give it some strokes on it head. “Where did you heard it..?”
“Above of course! I also watched you playing with cats so often, so yeah, I’m guessing that you really like them!” The angel said, with his cheeks flushed.
Above. Of course. Seriously, can this day even get any weirder? He met an angel. AN. ANGEL. Is god playing with him or something? God, he really don’t want to think of it anymore.
Ichimatsu chuckled softly. “Thank you, seriously.” He pet the cat again, and a short smile drawn on his face.
“You smiled!” The angel giggled. “You smiled! You rarely smiled on things! Except when you with the cats of course. But you really smiled!” The angel giggled happily, and it made his wings wiggle even faster.
Ichimatsu immediately shut himself, avoiding the angel’s gaze, and blushed from ear to ear. “Shut up,” he mumbled. The angel giggled more. “Can i sit next to you? Umm-” The angel hesitates.
“Ichimatsu.” He blurted out, still avoiding the angel’s gaze. “The name’s Ichimatsu.”
“Ah! Can i sit next to you, Ichimatsu?” The angel smiled.
“Of course.”
Jyushimatsu smile brightens and immediately sit beside him.
“Ichimatsu, how old are you??” The angel looked at him with a curious eyes.
Why is an angel asked him about his age? seriously..
“Ummm- 10..”
“Woah! I’m 500 years old! But that’s still count young on our world. So, I’m also around your age, I guess??”
Ichimatsu scoffed. 500 years? That is a really long time. And sitting beside the angel makes Ichimatsu really calmed. Like, there’s someone who’s protect him, support him, and many positive things. Ichimatsu just sighed and closed his eyes for a bit.
Hoping, that this is not just all a dream.
