Choo-Choo is not a fan of his engineer's romance

Summary:

A 28 year old train conductor(Randy) gets attracted to another man.
He has a history of bad relationships, starting since he was 16, he was abused in these relationships. In total, he got into 5 bad relationships.
Randy's train Choo-Choo is getting suspicious and when he finds it out, he will try to sabotage it (with good intentions ofc).
Some of his friends agree and some don't.
Basically, innocent old world vs weird possibly evil new world.

Notes:

This is my first time writing a fic, so yeah, it might not be soo good. This is my second time writing a novel. And this is my 5th or 6th time writing a story. Also, don't worry, it is family friendly(or atleast, 13/12-year old friendly). Also, this novel is set in 15 June 2026. And one last thing, this story follows the perspectives of two different characters. You can choose one or the other or do both, it's your choice.

 RANDY'S PERSPECTIVE:

June 15, 2026                8:00 AM 

Dear Diary, (I know it's weird to write a diary in the morning, y'better not complain about it Diary)

Today is a bright and sunny day, like always. All the trains are happy. And almost all of the engineers are in eternal happiness mode(maybe). Almost.

Except me.

I mean, no, I'm not all doom and gloom but I'm not all sunshine and rainbows either. I mean, I can consider myself as someone with a neutral (and slightly negative) worldview. But, I don't really have time for that, I have to do work today, like always, but atleast it will get over waaay sooner compared to other days. I have had a bad past I would not like to talk about, even to you ,because, what if someone steals you? Thieves are common in this place. Anyhow, it doesn't matter as I have moved on.

Well, it's time to work. And time to meet Choo-Choo, he's kind hearted but sensitive. That's why I have to avoid being too rude to him.

CHOO-CHOO'S PERSPECTIVE:

Dear Melissa,

"Yesterday, today, and tommorow was, is, and will be the best day."

It's a mantra I remember daily, and Randy must remember, hehe!

Anyhow, I am kind of in a rush, you see! Because there will be less work today! Meaning I can visit my friends. Oh! I must tell you about them. They are Dolly, Tedd, Blokka, Bethelda Wisterwourne, and Kuku! I will tell you about them later.

Anyhow, I will have to go now. Bye Melissa and I hope being a diary is fun for you! I have to leave the station now!

Sry if the first chapter is kind of boring, I was just setting the stuff and all. 😅

 

I made this story up when I was watching a possibly slop kids channel named 'Choo Choo Train Kids Videos' with my 3 year old mother's friend's son. I thought 'hmmm what if it's a slowburn yaoi with the train being the goody two shoes who is concerned and trying to 'test'(more like sabotage) the relationship?' and this is how everything came. Also, idk how many chapters I will make, when I feel this book's complete, then it's complete. But don't worry, it won't be left incomplete(probably), though my holidays will get over tommorow(22 June 2026) and my exams will start a week after 22 June and will last for probably 12 days. So yeah, it might take some time for me to write new chapters. Also, this will have a happy ending, so don't worry! Also, constructive criticism is welcome, just pls don't be mean. And I am planning to translate this work into Esperanto. Also, FUN FACT: the manuscript is written in Esperanto as I want to practice Esperanto and also, during school, I can prevent some of my NOSY POSY TOESY classmates from snooping and going like "OMG YOU WRITE YAOI. PUPPY SHAME SHAME!" .Basically, my reputation (the sweet innocent student) will SHATTER. Okay, enough yapping, stay safe and healthy! Bye! (Also, I am not good at relationships because I am 14 and single, and I will remain single for the rest of my life)
