Chapter Text
Mori sat in his chair, his head on his hand. Lost in his thoughts as the sound of the crayon pressing against paper broke the world of thoughts. He looked over at Elise. Watching her color on some paper, he thought for a minute once again. Smirking as he spoke.
"Elise, dear? Go color somewhere else.. I'm busy."
Elise had looked at him, grabbing her crayons and paper as she left the room, scurrying into another.
Mori sighed, picking up the telephone, as he dialed a certain number.

Fukuzawa walked around the agency, watching each member to their work, besides Dazai of course. He gently set a hand on Dazai's desk. "Da-" He looked back, his phone ringing. "Oh.." Fukuzawa walked over to phone, "it's.. Mori?" He said, leaving Dazai chuckling "Damn.. Mori saved me from getting forced to do work.." He mumbled under a huff. Atsushi nudged his arm,"I heard that, Dazai-San.."
Dazai just rolled his eyes, looking down at the papers he was assigned to. Scoffing and grabbing his pencil, filling in the paper, Kunikida looked over at Dazai, shocked slightly, lowering his head with a smile. Happy Dazai had done his work for once.. Fukuzawa had left the room, entering his office to take the phone call.
"Why are you calling me." He sternly said, waiting for a response from the other side, only hearing a chuckle.
"Yukichi, I have an idea." Mori replied, already knowing he'd approve of the request after some points he was soon to prove.
"Goodness Ougai... What?" Fukuzawa replied, sitting in his chair. "Put them in a house." Fukuzawa was confused,
"them? As in.. No we can't. They don't get along at all! Besides.. Yosano gets along with Chuuya and Kouyou but that doesn't count." Fukuzawa raised his voice slightly at the insane idea. "You're a mad man." He added.
"Of course I'm a mad man! I'm the man of the port I'd say! Hear me out, put them on different sides. They can't go on the other side without proof they'll get along. Maybe give some pairs like say I'll put Chuuya and Kouyou in a room, you could do the same with Yosano and Edogawa! You feel me? They could even maybe get along well.. We both know you want that."
Mori was sure he had proven a great point. And yes he has. Fukuzawa always muttered about how no one got along. even with the pact.
"Hm.. Where are we going to get a house?" Fukuzawa thought, the Ada wasn't going to afford a house big enough for all this. "I've got it covered, don't you worry. Deal?" He reassured Fukuzawa, Fukuzawa on the other hand hung him up after replying with a short and nonchalant.
"Deal."

Mori had scoffed at how he was hung up on, walking into the room that held all the mafia meetings, "How would I announce this?" He thought, as he began walking around the place, randomly yelling the words "MEETING. NOW I DON'T CARE IF YOU'RE BUSY PEOPLE!" Each member had looked up from their desk, at their office door. As Mori sat in his chair with each member in the room, he smirked. A cheek to cheek grin, odd.
"I have something to announce, that you won't like.. Especially Chuuya, Akutagawa, and Gin here." He said letting out an old man laugh. Ryunosuke spoke up almost immediately.
"Why wouldn't we like this boss? Especially us." He said setting a hand on the table. "Ah.. We're going to be uh, closer with the armed detective agency.. That's it. Chuuya, Dazai is there. Akutagawa, Nakajima is there. Gin, heads up you don't like them one way or another. You have a small hatred you keep hidden! But I smelt it a mile away, oh as close I mean me and Fukuzawa had a deal I'd buy a house and put you all together.. or something"
he repeated the same rich chuckle, watching their eyes widen. Chuuya slammed his hands on the table.
"GOD DAMNIT BOSS! THIS IS IT YOU'RE ALWAYS SENDING ME AROUND DAZAI, THE MISSIONS, THE TASKS, THE ERRANDS, NOW THIS?! YOU KNOW I'M SICK OF THAT GUY! AKUTAGAWA TOO. HE MAY NOT BE AS STUCK WITH THE WERE TIGER AS I AM WITH DAZAI BUT UGH! HE'S PROBABLY ANNOYED TOO."
Mori's eyes widened as Chuuya began his outburst. Sighing before snapping his fingers as Chuuya sat down, wrapping his arm around akutagawa. Akutagawa sat there, his eyes twitching slightly at the thought of being near Atsushi even more. He despised the boy, a deep envy and hatred. He just wanted to kill him sometimes, but he agreed not to kill for 6 months, as that was 2 months ago, meaning he has to behave for a while as he's a man of his words. Sticking with promises as it would make him feel guilty if he just lied like that.. Chuuya on the other hand had a deep deep DEEP, heavy hate for Dazai, hating him with each and every vessel he had. But always cracked a smile after Dazai had left or looked away, it always confused him but he never spoke about it. It made him feel weird. He didn't want to feel weird.. So he just kept it away!

Fukuzawa walked back into the main room of the agency, sighing as Ranpo looked at him, his eyes widening. Fukuzawa stared back, already knowing what Ranpo knew. "WHAT?" Ranpo said, shouting, as all eyes were on him. Everyone knew Ranpo knew something they didn't, and were all pretty confused. Dazai had a small smirk out of inquiry, "Hm-?" Kyouka followed, a small curious head turn.
Ranpo continued to shout. "... I'll let him tell you all." Fukuzawa, now with it all on him again.. Exhaled and calmly spoke up, "I made a deal with Mori, no missions unless emergency." At first, everyone was happy. Especially Dazai. But they all knew there was a catch, "And..?" Kunikida mumbled. "And we're setting up something.. you will be with the port mafia." there it is. Dazai's grin fell. a sarcastic scowl of disgust. Kunikida was absolutely astonished.
Kyouka? Atsushi was already making eye contact with her. Both of their minds immediately pictured Akutagawa. Kenji didn't really seem all that mad, the same neutral smile on his youthful face. Yosano was.. It was hard to tell how she felt.
Kunikida groaned, Dazai leaned his head back dramatically, "CRAZYYY.." He shouted, "Oh.." Kyouka mumbled, leaning her head on Kenji's shoulder. Still thinking about Akutagawa and their past. As Kenji rubbed her shoulder and continued to brightly smile, bringing Kyouka a small smirk.
Dazai was still pretty dramatic, Atsushi next to him, staring down at him, with a worried look on his face. "Dazai-san? Are you oka-AAAHH!!!" Dazai sat up, hitting Atsushis head. Atsushi immediately raised his hand and started rubbing his head, "that hurt!" He said, "oh shit-!" Dazai chuckled. "It's.. Fine.." Atsushi stood up, as Kunikida already put an ice pack on his forehead "thanks.."
"No problem!" Kunikida replied, sitting Atsushi in his chair as he sat on his own.

Akutagawa sat on his bed, not able to sleep as his back hurt, his neck hurt, his arms hurt, he was so tired but just couldn't. Fall. Asleep. He hated it so much. He just wanted to rest but couldn't, why couldn't he? What was the problem? He craved to know. He wanted to know it and he wanted to know it now. He grabbed a book, opening it and reading it to pass time, still not falling sleep, getting more mad by the second. He groaned, slamming the book shut and pulling the blanket off him, walking out of his room and to the kitchen, grabbing a cup as he poured water into it, throwing in ice as he took a sip. the cold water hitting his mouth felt freezing in the warmth of his mouth. Looking down as he felt dizzy, holding onto the counter as it went away, he wondered what had just happened.. He groaned again as he walked back to his room.
As he sat on his bed, he put the water on the bed stand, getting in the blanket and laying his head on the pillow. What was covering his mind from just turning off and sleeping? It hit him. He was thinking about the weretiger. But why? He's worthless, useless, pathetic, and just ugh..! He made Akutagawa want to flip a table and make it hit Atsushi in the face. As if he wasn't hurt enough, after a long 5 hours of thinking about.. The weretiger.. he fell asleep, his dreams and nightmares flooding with Atsushi. It was torture to Akutagawa. He despised it. He wanted Atsushi to just go away. But no, he had to LIVE WITH HIM. Mori had to make that deal..
THAT deal. A deal that kept Akutagawa up at night, thinking of the horrors it'd come with.. It pained him just to think of living with Atsushi and the other pests of the agency, besides Dazai of course.. As his dreams flooded with Atsushi, they slowly went away, in his deep sleep forgetting everything around him.

Chuuya was in his kitchen, eating a sandwich just thinking.. What would change in life being so close to the armed detective agency like that, dazai always said he'd get along with Atsushi but he never believed him.. Would he? He'd see ranpo. He'd see yosano! And kyouka! And Kenji! He tried looking on the bright side, maybe Atsushi and Akutagawa would grow a better relationship. He always wanted to meet Atsushi based on how much 'they'd get along', he wanted to test it out. He felt like he always needed to test things out no matter what it was, no matter how bad it was. He didn't care he loved trying new things. In his head he sung lyrics, he sat on the counter as his feet swayed and he hummed, mumbling the lyrics under his breath. It was a song by an artist he was getting more into. He enjoyed music.
He already had about 4 favorites they may be popular but they were popular for a reason. He had a certain one stuck in his head, his mind was flooding with songs. He couldn't get enough of music, it's his favorite thing. Music, sing it, listen to it, dance to it, scream it, shout it, yell it. He loved music! Musicals too. He adored the sound of the beat, lyrics, flow, melody, vocals everything! Especially watching music videos. Depressing music, positive music, pop, indie, country, metal he loved it all. Japanese, Korean, english, German he loved music. He was obsessed.
