The first prince who called himself Vendetto just woke up 8 minutes ago… he wandered aimlessly around the flame castle halls very slowly…anyone would walk sluggish if his youngest sister latched on to his tail like some sort of barnacle, and she falls back to sleep with the cutest and softest snores.
“Desiree....how many times I told you not to latch yourself on to my tail… it slows me down.”
The young demon princess just mumbled as she was still half asleep
”…Big brother…I want breakfast…” she detached herself from Vendetto’s tail and fell asleep on the hallway floor.
“Desiree, no sibling of mines is allowed to sleep on the floor…especially like that..”
He lifted the still sleepy girl off the floor by the collar of her nightgown, a few messy strands of orange hair stuck to her face…her whole hair was messy…ugh ..this won’t do…Vendetto can’t allow Ivlis to see Desiree like this
“Big brother…was our little sister latching on to your tail again?”
Another demon who had the same four horns as Desiree was standing Infront of Vendetto…holding a baby kitsune with …it said nothing but stared, the Demon was named Caramel…the fourth of Ivlis’s children and his baby kitsune sidekick, Sosuke.
Desiree lifted her nose in the air…she smelled food coming from Caramel’s direction, Caramel was the best chef in all of the Flame World, finally she can have some breakfast and she woke up instantly and returned to her room to get dressed…after all today after breakfast, she Caramel and Licorice would have to go out together to get a gift for Satanick for father’s day even if both Caramel and Desiree would have to drag Licorice along with them since he’s more of a mama’s boy while Poemi and Vendetto will soon go on their own adventure for a gift for Ivlis
At a store in Gray Garden
Licorice just bout a simple card but Caramel and Desiree has been staring at a large grill…they could of went to a store in Ne-No Kuni but they wanted their Father’s Day gift to remain a surprise…and they couldn’t keep it a surprise if their father popped up behind them out of nowhere in the middle of shopping, they could of asked Kcalb but Kcalb was busy hanging out with Silhouette for their Father’s Day together.
They bought the grill, and while Licorice was the strongest out of the two devil kings’ three children, so he did the heavy lifting, Caramel tried helping ease up the load on Licorice…even if it was twenty percent of the grill’s weight.
While her brothers were more focus on carrying Satanick’s gift out of the store…Desiree noticed a strange crying demon lying face down in the empty side of a sidewalk near the store… she got closer and poked him.
“What’s the matter, mister?”
The demon sniffled and lifted his face off the sidewalk
“My daughter won’t let me spend time with her and have daughter and father bo-....Princess Desiree?…do not worry about me… you should focus more on the King of Ne-No Kuni since you are one of his daughters…”
Desiree shaked her head
“I can focus on my papa in time before the day ends, you said you have a daughter, but she’s not giving you the time of day even on Father’s Day? I probably can’t do much…but Happy Father’s Day…whoever you are.”
Desiree hugged the crying demon’s head before her brothers called her over to them and she disappeared into the crowd where her brothers are calling her…
The demon was thinking about his life before he felt a tap on his shoulder and he turned his head…
“Olivi-“
The demon was slapped in the face by the girl who tapped him on the shoulder…then she sat next to him..
“Only today and then you can fuck off for the rest of the year....Happy Father’s Day…”
At Ne-No Kuni Castle courtyard
Ever since Ivlis got his Father’s Day gift from Vendetto and Poemi…Satanick wouldn’t stop smelling him....Ivlis got a high-quality perfume and Satanick liked the smell.
” Satanick…can you save it for later, Today is still Father’s Day after all..”
“Not my fault you smell good… …and wore a perfume that made you smell even better…what is it…Rose Perfume....maybe I want you to use this scent every day, maybe some variety like Cinnamon apple spice perfume…
Takes me back to the “rose bush incident””
“You promised not to bring that embarrassing moment up!”
He took another deep sniff in the neck before Ivlis pushed him away weakly with his wings, because they did one too many “public performance”, and Envi entered the courtyard from the main gate.
“Lord Satanick, …Your and Lord Ivlis’s children just got you your Father’s Day gift and is slowly bringing it to you… young master Licorice, young master Caramel and young mistress Desiree will be here in 1 minute..”
Satanick got up and marched to the direction Envi came from....and he saw his two sons and daughter with a grill…
“Happy Father’s Day, dad.”
He liked this Father’s Day gift
Father’s Day ended and soon after Satanick was in Flame World pestering Vendetto on where he got such a perfume so he could buy more. Vendetto went into his room and closed the door in his face. He must get that perfume brand, so Poemi was his only option for later use on Ivlis…perhaps another day....for now he went back to Ne-No Kuni to try out his new grill.
