Work Text:
In the waking world, their interactions were limited. But, at night, Sabrina found herself haunted by visions of the lovely Erika.
Their fingers laced. Their lips brush against each other. They hold each other in an embrace that feels endless.
Haunted was a word that both wrong and right.
She saw Erika every night. But only in dreams. Dreams that caused both great pain and immense delight. She'd awake dripping with sweat, cold and needing. Are these visions of a future? She wondered on her own ability. Sabrina never left anything but indifference towards Erika before, but now. She's all she ever dreams about.
This was a want she'd never experienced before. Seeing Erika in reality, her heart burned and ached. Her hand moved on its own to touch her, fingertips brushing against the vibrant fabric of her kimono.
"Sabrina?" Her soft voice, like a sweet melody playing endlessly in her head. "Is everything alright? You don't seem well today."
What could she say? I see you in my dreams. Would that startle her? Could she be experiencing that visions that plagued her sleep. Pleasant and torturous. She wondered, with so many words on the tip of her tongue. She smiles, "I'm fine."
