Chapter Text
Leeroy woke up. But not because he wanted, or got enough sleep. Because his body decided to betray him. Again.
He groaned as he sat up in his bed. He looked around his room.
Piles of clothes pooling around his mattress, most of them needing a good wash. Cans of Monster on his makeshift bedside table.
He looked over his shoulder, finding his phone, and picking it up. He checked the time, 4 AM. Might as well start his day now.
He groaned before standing up and walking over to the bathroom. He stepped over at least 3 piles of clothes on his way there.
Leeroy opened the bathroom door, and turning the light on. He hissed and flinched at the bright light before looking at himself in the mirror.
God, he looked like a mess. His hair sticking up, from the tossing and turning in bed. The eye bags on his face, a very clear sign he needs more sleep.
He took another look before grabbing his towel from the small shelf he somehow managed to install himself, and stripping his clothes off to take a shower.
His shower process was pretty quick, wash hair then wash body. After a few minutes, he stepped out of the shower, wrapping the towel around his waist. He walked out of the bathroom going through his normal routine again.
He dried off, changing into his work uniform. He left his room a mess again, promising himself to clean it later. He made his into kitchen. He opened his fridge, not expecting any actual food. And just like he expected, the only thing being in there leftover Wendy’s.
He signed before checking the time again. 5:38 AM. He decided he would clock in earlier today.
The deliveries weren’t that bad today, most of the packages being pretty small and easy to carry.
Leeroy got home after a few hours and he immediately went to his room and flopped down into his bed, again. May the bed rotting begin.
He decided TikTok was the thing he was gonna scroll through today. His FYP mostly was filled with the latest “memes”, random conspiracy theories, and videos of anime edits every now and then.
While he was scrolling, he landed on a video of someone walking through what seemed to be an abandoned building.
The camera was shaky, with the occasional commentary. The view spun around before showing who was filming.
A girl with hair reaching just below her shoulders, with curtain bangs. A smile was spread across her face as she spoke again.
“Ok, I’ve actually been here before,” she started. “But I decided to visit again, for shits and giggles, you know?”
Leeroy let out a small laugh. Weird, he usually didn’t laugh at his TikTok FYP. But something about that girl’s energy, just made him smile.
He looked over at the girl’s account.
“sad_jester”
…where had he heard that before? He clicked on her account looking at her videos.
“Hey guys! Abigail here…”
“What’s up, TikTok? Abi here…”
“Hi everyone! Abigail here and this building…”
He stood up from his bed, fixing his posture, and trying to remember where he had seen this girl before…
No.
It couldn’t be.
Was it really her?
“Pomni?...”
