It was a nice day in Mondstadt as Albedo was working in his office in the knights' headquarters when he heard a knock at the door. Getting up to go answer the door, but before his hand reaches the knob the door swings open and there is Lohen. The Vice Captain of the Fifth Company who has let themself in without asking but honestly who cares right now. Not Albedo, I mean he rarely gets to see Lohen anyways and every time he does Lohen has a new and interesting thing to share. Whether it's a new torture method or a prank they can pull, maybe even a new way to test the knights—a conversation with them is never boring. Although, while it's nice to see them, Albedo is busy so...
"Hello Lohen, is there something I can do for you?"
"Eh not really Chalkie, I don't need anything in particular, I just thought we could get a snack since you forget to take breaks and eat sometimes."
"Well, I am currently in the middle of something, but I will be finished soon if you want to wait for me."
And with that Lohen is sitting in Albedo's office waiting for him to finish his current experiment. To pass the time Lohen sharpens and cleans their knife while chewing gum and blowing bubbles.
After like an hour Albedo is finished so they stop by Good Hunter for a proper meal. Lohen mostly just watches Albedo eat because the way Albedo eats is really cute, but after a few minutes Albedo notices they're not eating and looks up at them.
"Why aren't you eating. Aren't you hungry?"
"Oh sorry, just got a little distracted. I'll eat, don't worry" Lohen says with a playful smile. Albedo goes back to eating the remainder on his plate—Lohen following suit. After they finish eating, they pay and leave. While walking back to the Knights of Favonius headquarters Lohen has an idea.
"Hey Albedo, we should do this again sometime. Except maybe a picnic instead?"
"Sure. I will find time in my schedule."
"Great. I know the perfect place and I can make all the food unless you wanna bring something?" "Hmm. No, it's alright. I'm actually curious about your cooking."
And with that they parted ways. Later, Albedo gets back to Lohen about when he's free so they can set up the picnic properly.
The following day both are pretty excited about the picnic and Lohen is learning a new recipe because they heard that Albedo likes Strawberry Shortcake. Now the learning process has been kind of a disaster and some attempts were completely inedible, but eventually with the help of Noelle, they made a decent Strawberry Shortcake. Now that it's complete all that waits is the picnic.
