Marceline held Bonnie's soft, pink body close to her's. Bare skin touching bare skin, locked in a gentle embrace. Even though her own body was cold, she could feel Bonnie's skin warming under her touch. Melting, even. Her scent, sweet as candy. Perhaps, too sweet for some, but just right for Marceline.
She nuzzled against Bonnie's cheek, soft and pink just like the rest of her. Just as sweet.
"Marce. . .line," the princess moaned, sleepily. She squirmed under the pressure of the grip Marceline held her in. Marceline did not relinquish, no matter how much the still slumbering princess wanted it. It was a promise after all.
I'll never let you go, Bonnie.
You better not, doofus.
It was a promise she planned on keeping for an eternity and longer.
