The four members of the gang stood on a rooftop overlooking a warehouse
Tsukasa moved through the garage's threshold with Rui, Nene, and Emu close behind him
As they moved through the warehouse, a stern voice echoed through Tsukasa's head
...
Knightkasa: "You need to stay focused. You know what youre doing."
[a more worried one replies back]
Torpe: "Are you sure? That turn didnt look right.."
Samuraikasa: "It probably isn't! He always thinks he knows better tsk."
Tsukasa’s chest tightened, already annoyed by the conversations in his head
Ahead of the group, Rui adjusts his gloves as he tinkers with a machine relating to their mission.
[a more fond sounding voice comes along]
Lilykasa: "Rui does that whenever he’s concentrating.. I think it's very cute."
Samuraikasa: "Yuck."
Emu nearly fumbles over a loose tile
Torpe: "Why did she walk like that over the tile..? Are the floors tampered with?"
Knightkasa: "No, idiot. She just tripped."
Nene follows that soon after with a sigh at something Rui muttered while continuing to mess with the generator.
Lilykasa: "Nene always seems annoyed, but she never leaves us behind.. do you think she's actually frustrated?"
The voices continue to talk among themselves, distracting Tsukasa from his lookout duty.
Knightkasa: "I think we should move right."
Samuraikasa: "No, forward!"
Torpe: "Didn't Emu say left..?"
Tsukasa stopped in the middle of the long hallway, giving them tricky options as to where the gang should move next
“What wrong, Tsukasa-kun? ” Rui asked quietly, his voice mixing in with the others in the blonde's head
Tsukasa froze- he couldn’t tell who's voice was who's anymore
“Nothing..” Tsukasa replied with a sigh, hoping that he was talking to the right one
Emu tilted her head, looking arojnd the group “Then why have we been walking in circles?”
Nene crossed her arms “Are you sure you're leading us the right way?"
A voice snickers, breaking the brief silence in Tsukasa's head
Samuraikasa: They noticed!
[Another replies with shame]
Torpe: This is embarrasinfg.. just think of something quickly!
Lilykasa: Maybe we should tell Rui- I'm sure he'll understand!
Tsukasa says nothing.
The group stood there for a few moments as the blonde remained frozen. Nene and Emu decide to split up.. one going left and the other going to the right. Rui ends up staying behind to guide Tsukasa forward and continue exploring with surprising gentleness.
