it was quiet despite the bustling city and the sound of traffic, it was quiet.
Not the suffocating one she was used to, no it was the opposite. The silence was serene, as though the continuous wave of thoughts in her head finally calmed.
She had decided.
She watched the city from the rooftop, it was truly a beautiful place.
If only she had any attachments to this place, maybe just maybe she could have found the will to stay.
She took a deep breath, before setting aside her shoes neatly.
Her bare feet felt the ground beneath her,
it was real, she was gonna do this.
She looked at the world below her one last time.
Spreading her arms, she let the wind carry her home.
