Chapter Text
Kim Soleum opened his eyes to a mini theater.
A three-by-five seated mini theater.
His heart skipped a bit before he saw his fellow group D seniors right one seat below him.
He exhales calmly before assessing his situation.
On his right side, Go Yeongeun is still unconscious. He tried shaking her awake to no avail.
He continues glancing to his left side, separated by a mini table, Baek Saheon sat unresponsive.
In front of his seat, from left to right, sat J3, Supervisor Park Minseong, Section Chief Lee Jaheon, and Assistant Manager Eun Haje.
He has no problem with these people, yeah, maybe it'll be better if Baek Saheon isn't here, but still, this room is filled with people he knows well.
The problem is the two person sitting behind him.
Agent Choi and Agent Bronze side by side.
Cold sweat run down his temple.
Worst case scenario, he'll get found as a spy, but no matter what, at least Go Yeongeun can go under the radar.
‘Should I sit by Baek Saheon's side? But I don't want to…’
Not realizing how long his musings went on, one by one, people stir awake.
“Ughh, what the hell?" Assistant Manager hold her throbbing head. Even the Section Chief is frowning from the headache.
"Where are we?” Supervisor Park Minseong glances around, wave a little when he saw his hoobae in the back.
He could see Baek Saheon looking around cautiously, being the only one seated alone.
While not turning his head, he can hear that his Hyunmoo sunbae is awake as well.
They kept quiet as more than half the room is filled with Daydreams employees.
“That…I never saw them…” J points out at the government agents.
All eyes went to the outnumbered agents.
"Whoa whoa chill!” Agent Choi put his hands up. "We didn't even have any weapon on us!”
A lie?
Agent Bronze seems genuinely bare of any weapons tho.
The employees also seem to lose their equipments.
"A darkness that bare you from outside darknesses” Go Yeongeun mumbled.
Now that he thinks about it, he didn't have the ‘good friend’ doll with him. Not in his pocket or storage.
He feels his heart hollow out as he rummages through his empty storage.
「 H E L L O 」
The once black screen lights up with white letters. The projector is on, but the theater lights is not dimmed yet.
「 H O W ? 」
「 W E L L ? 」
「 C O M F Y ? 」
The words keep changing.
It seems friendly, but you should never trust a darkness.
What is even the condition on entering this darkness?
「 R E A C T 」
「 C H A N G E F U T U R E 」
「 A L O N E 」
???
Everyone got the same ‘what is this darkness talking about' faces, but wisely kept their mouth shut.
「 S A F E H E R E 」
「 N O T V 」
He almost winced.
Is it possible that the host can't enter this darkness?
This has never happened before, Braun almost always has no problems entering darknesses with him.
“What??”
Chief Lizard gave a very pointed look a lizard could to him. He gave him his best smile.
「 E N J O Y 」
The lights dimmed out until the only light source's the movie in front of them.
