Ever since all the ENHYPEN members made their little representative mascots, something strange happened – their little creatures somehow came to life with a mission: to follow their creators.
At first, everyone was freaked out. Who wouldn’t be? How on earth did they even come to be? Yet with time, it became clear they meant no harm.
The members tried to hide them from ENGENEs to avoid chaos, but that plan completely fell apart when Pu-ni started chasing Jakey across the table where someone’s phone was clearly recording everything live.
Engenes had a lot of questions, but they also fell in love instantly. The tiny creatures quickly became a new source of entertainment, bringing endless funny and adorable moments.
Sunoo adored his little fox, Kishu. Even though the tiny vixen was a bit shy, he always seemed comfortable around Sunoo. Their skincare routines were especially cute! Sunoo would gently pretend to apply moisturizer to the fox’s face while Kishu sat still, enjoying the attention.
But Sunoo wasn’t the only one who loved Kishu. There was also SnoWe, Sunghoon’s little wolf, who always found excuses to linger nearby whenever Sunghoon came to tease Sunoo. His riceball tail would wag nonstop as he tugged at Kishu’s heart-shaped one, overjoyed every time he managed to get a squeak out of the fox. Sunoo could see the resemblance between the little wolf and Sunghoon very clearly.
One day, Sunoo noticed that SnoWe was holding a tiny flower.
“Aww, you look so cute!” Sunoo cooed, gently poking the little wolf’s cheek. SnoWe flushed slightly, letting out a soft bark as if calling someone over.
Kishu then peeked out of Sunoo’s shirt pocket, carefully jumping down onto the table. Sunoo tilted his head curiously as SnoWe shyly stepped forward and offered the flower to Kishu. The fox turned shy too, but slowly approached and took the flower. Then, as if to thank him, Kishu booped his nose with SnoWe's. Sunoo gasped.
Just then, the door slid open. “Sunoo-yah, have you seen SnoWe–” Sunghoon stopped mid-sentence, his gaze landing on the scene in front of him: SnoWe and Kishu sitting close together, paws intertwined as they cuddled on the table.
Sunoo quickly turned towards his hyung, cheeks heating up as if he’d been caught doing something wrong. “Sunghoonie-hyung… I think… our Enchins are together?”
Sunghoon blinked slowly, shifting his gaze between Sunoo and the tiny couple on the table. Then he let out a small laugh.
“That’s… good for them, I guess.” he said, eyes softening as he looked at his little wolf.
At that moment, SnoWe whispered something into Kishu’s ear. The fox made a small sound in response before both of them stood up.
SnoWe barked at Sunghoon insistently, while Kishu moved toward the edge of the table where Sunoo’s hands were resting. Confused, Sunoo and Sunghoon watched as the two mascots guided their hands closer together until their fingers touched.
“W-what are you doing…” Sunoo stammered, his face turning even redder at the contact. Sunghoon was just as flustered, frozen in place.
Then SnoWe and Kishu quickly gathered a small piece of paper and a pencil from nearby and dragged it closer, drawing a heart between two stick figures holding hands.
“…Are you two matchmaking us right now?” Sunghoon asked, covering his mouth in embarrassment. Both mascots chirped happily and hugged each other again.
Sunoo and Sunghoon exchanged a glance, their hands still touching on the table. Slowly, Sunghoon shifted his hand to rest more firmly over Sunoo’s. The younger couldn’t help but smile at the warmth spreading through him.
Seeing the hopeful sparkle in their Enchins’ eyes, Sunoo finally decided to speak. “Hyungie…” he started softly, turning toward Sunghoon. “Actually… I’ve liked you since I-LAND. I never had the courage to say it, but now… I think I’ll take the opportunity that our Enchins are giving us. It’s okay if you don’t feel the same, but–”
He looked down, face burning. Sunghoon stared at him in disbelief before glancing at SnoWe and Kishu, who were now enthusiastically pointing at Sunoo as if saying to kiss him already.
Taking a breath, Sunghoon gently placed a hand on Sunoo’s cheek, guiding him to look up. “Sunoo…” he said quietly.
He leaned in slowly, giving Sunoo every chance to pull away. When there was no resistance, their lips met as Sunghoon's fingers tightened slightly around Sunoo’s hand.
Tiny squeals of joy came from SnoWe and Kishu as they hugged each other excitedly. When they finally pulled apart, Sunghoon smiled faintly.
“I like you too, Sunoo-yah.” He then peppered Sunoo’s face with small, affectionate kisses, making the younger laugh. Behind them, SnoWe and Kishu quickly started drawing again.
Curious, the two leaned in and saw a simple sketch of Sunghoon and Sunoo with a heart between them and arrows pointing down to SnoWe and Kishu with another heart beneath.
“What does that mean?” Sunghoon asked, confused.
Sunoo tilted his head, analyzing it. “I think… our feelings got transferred onto them? Is that what you mean?” he asked, looking at Kishu, who gave a tiny nod. “So… this version of us just got together faster.” Sunoo laughed.
“Unfair.” Sunghoon muttered lightly, though he was smiling.
“To be fair, they helped us.” Sunoo said, leaning in to kiss his cheek. “We should be grateful.”
Sunghoon returned the gesture immediately. SnoWe and Kishu watched happily before gently bumping their noses again.
