"Jason x Sadako"

Summary:

The Legion are bored, and Susie wants to discuss the newest Killer added to the Realms.

Notes:

ive been playing dbd for so long. i main sadako. i can't write about sadako because sadako is a hard character to write for, if you ask me.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

“Do you think Jason and Sadako might get together?” Susie asked during their game of Monopoly.

“No.” Frank said bluntly.

“Hey, Frank, don’t dismiss the idea so quickly!” Julie glared at her boyfriend, “I think it’d be nice to get a new younger couple among the Fog, honestly.”

“Young?” Joey tilted his head. “It’s been a while since I watched either of their movies, but like… Isn’t Sadako at least 49 or something?”

“Well that’s dependent on if you think ghosts age. They don’t physically age, but they have the capacity to mentally age, and they do technically chronologically age…” Susie thought aloud to herself.

“What do you think, Frank?” Julie asked to forcefully drag Frank into the conversation.

“I think this conversation is dumb.”

Aw, c’mon Frank!” Julie shook him by the shoulder. “I think they’d be cute, personally.”

“How cute could a couple of emotionless, silent murderers be?” Joey looked back at the board, “I dunno if they even can feel love.”

“Jason can. He does most of his killings in remembrance of his mother,” Susie interjected, “and Sadako only really exists due to intense emotion. Her first kill was in protection of her mother’s honor after she was slandered.”

“Wow, they both have mommy issues. So much grounds for romance.” Frank sighed, and moved his piece on the board, landing on a bad place. “Fuck.”

“I dunno, it’s enough for some people.” Julie shrugged, “Maybe they could bond over it?”

“Ughhh, Entity take me to a Trial right now.” Frank bemoaned, covering his face with his hands.

Before the conversation could extend ever longer, Ghost Face kicked the door down, carrying with him a box of miscellaneous add-ons. “Ngh, feels nice to not have to worry about running the same shit over and over…” He groans at the weight of the box, a result of hundreds of bloodpoints in it.

“Ghostie!” Susie waved her arm, “Hey, we need help with something!”

“We don’t.”

“Do you think Sadako and Jason would be a cute couple?” Susie asked.

“Danny, tell them to shut up.” Frank grumbled.

Ghost Face looked at them for a few seconds, then down at his box, and then back at them.

“... I thought Jason was aro-ace?”

The three members of the Legion and Ghost Face then broke out into a loud and vibrant discussion about the sexual preferences and romantic availability of horror icons. Frank, fully fed up, stood up and left the Ormond Mansion, also forfeiting their game of Monopoly.

Notes:

happy 10th, dbd. no matter how bad it can get, i'll stick around, playing a character that most really do not like to fight, just happy that i can experience sadako in a media that doesn't portray her out of character.
